Trending Questions on Cars under ₹30 Lakh - Answered by Autocar Experts
My budget is around Rs. 30 lakh for a chauffer driven car that will be used for approximately 140 km of daily commute (70 km from home to office and same for vice-versa) that translates to approximately 40,000 km annually. I will be using the rear seat and my priority is a convenient and safe journey without any tiredness because I travel daily. Please suggest me cars for the same.
I have been driving Renault Kwid for the past 8 years for daily commute within the city. I have owned Scorpio, Sumo, Tata Indica and Santro in the past. Now, I want to upgrade to another car for daily city and highway driving. On an average, average monthly city driving is 600-800 km and with 3 long drives of 1500 to 1800 km annually on average. We are family of 3 and working professionals. My son is 20 years old. We plan to buy the car in October under a budget of 23 lakh. Please advise which vehicle, variant and fuel type should I opt for.
My mom is looking for a car to replace our Ignis AMT. Although the main use is a daily commute of 15km in town, we need a car that provides good comfort for four people on trips of up to 250km. We looked at the Tata Punch and Nexon EV, but the general service issues with Tata are concerning. The budget is around Rs 16-17 lakh on-road. Is it worth waiting for the upcoming Bayon? Is the 1.5-litre + IVT combination known to be fuel-efficient in the city?
I am looking for a safe and fuel-efficient diesel or petrol car, and my daily travel is around 50km. I am looking for a car that will suit my needs for the next 7-8 years. Which would be the best car to purchase within my maximum budget of Rs 20 lakh?
Hi Autocar Team, I’m looking to replace my current Tata Punch Accomplished Dazzle Sunroof AMT. I’m not very happy with the AMT gearbox and specifically want to move to a smoother automatic for Hyderabad traffic. My hard on-road budget is Rs 15 lakh. The car will mainly be used by my wife and me, along with our kid, so I’m looking for something that offers good safety, comfort, an automatic transmission, and a sunroof. My biggest priority is long-term ownership and reliability. I plan to keep the car for at least 6-8 years, so it should be reasonably easy and affordable to maintain, with good parts availability and decent resale value. Could you please suggest which car and variant you would personally recommend within a Rs 15 lakh on-road budget in Hyderabad? I’m currently considering cars such as the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Škoda Kylaq, and other compact/mid-size SUVs, but I’m open to better options. If you had Rs 15 lakh as a hard maximum budget and were replacing a Punch AMT, which car would you shortlist and why?

The vehicle lacks two features which I believe should come in the facelift version: Cruise Control and TPMS. I am waiting for the facelift.

Solid technology, it has plenty of features compared with other car like tata, hyundai , mahindra and toyota cars, best in class. It's a introductory price. It's beats in all parameters like length, width and height. Colours are dominating. PHEV will rock the automobile industry.

The Innova Crysta is really a gem of an MPV car. It is very luxurious and comfortable with one of the most reliable engines. Its overall driveability is superior. However, it has a downside with its taxi looks and it misses an automatic transmission.

Good evening Autocar India... First for myself...I am a huge fan of Autocar India...and a die hard car lover... I went to Experience the Sorento in a Kia showroom... I personally found the car priced well ..although current prices are the introductory prices... For the car...I haven't driven it for now...but the car is very good in terms of design...comfort & modern features...I specially liked the HTK variant more VFM....AND as for it's direct rivals ...I can personally say here that Toyota has really attained its image of a real SUV like the Legender+ ...but for the price ...I think today's buyer will be getting more for his/her money if he/she opts the Sorento... I gave it 1 star less because Sorento is not having an SUV appeal ..or looks are not heartwarming....also its dashboard look is not so eye-catching & inspiring... Also... Kia could have given more powerful engine ....2.5L at least in a Diesel guise... So these are my views... Thanks
