Cars between ₹25–₹30 lakh in India (22)

I currently own a Tata Manza Diesel, and our car has been amazing so far, (clocked in 2L+ km) but we are planning to buy a new one under a budget of Rs. 25 lakh that is a step up from Manza in all areas. We are a family of four, but occasionally 5 passengers travel in the car. So, we want a car with a comfortable 2nd row that fits three occupants. We want a car with 600L+ big boot space (preferably) measured by depth instead of height. Our daily running is mostly within the city, but we like to drive, so occasional highway trips are always going to be on the cards. Between the powertrains, we prefer diesel, but are open to electric as well since we have a parking spot where we can easily install a charging point. Our shortlisted cars so far include XEV 9e and Kia Seltos.

I am based in Navi Mumbai and am planning to buy an electric SUV or MPV. My daily commute is around 25km, while I typically drive 200km on weekends. I currently own a 2017 Hyundai Creta 1.6 diesel manual and have test-driven the Hyundai Creta Electric, BYD eMax 7 and Kia Carens Clavis EV. With a budget of Rs 30 lakh, which 6-seater electric SUV or MPV would be suitable for long-term ownership? I am also concerned about BYD's after-sales service and would like to understand how it compares with the other options in terms of service support and long-term reliability.

My budget is around Rs. 30 lakh for a chauffer driven car that will be used for approximately 140 km of daily commute (70 km from home to office and same for vice-versa) that translates to approximately 40,000 km annually. I will be using the rear seat and my priority is a convenient and safe journey without any tiredness because I travel daily. Please suggest me cars for the same.

My average daily usage would be around 50 km, mainly for household work. I'm considering an EV for its silent and smooth drive. My shortlisted cars are:Tomahawk EV, VF7, XEV 9S, Sierra EV My budget is Rs. 25-30 lakh.

I am planning to buy a new car for myself in Bangalore, with a budget of up to Rs 25 lakh on-road. I have shortlisted two cars: the Tata Sierra Accomplished 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the Kia Seltos 1.5-litre turbo-petrol DCT. Which one would be the better choice, especially considering family comfort, ease of driving and driving enjoyment? I am also unsure about Tata’s reliability. Is the concern around Tata cars based mainly on social media noise, or is there a genuine reliability issue? If possible, how much of a reliability risk can realistically be expected with a Tata car? I find that the Sierra meets my expectations better overall, but I am hesitant because of the concerns around Tata’s reliability and after-sales experience. I have test-driven both cars and am comfortable with both. The Mahindra XUV 7XO was also on my shortlist, but I dropped it mainly because of its larger size. Should I reconsider the XUV 7XO, particularly for Bangalore city driving and family use?
