Tata Nexon price in Alappuzha
For the Nexon, the real decision buyers face is not just trim but powertrain: Tata sells the Nexon in petrol, CNG and diesel forms, and depending on which one you pick, there are four distinct gearbox layouts on offer. Once that choice is settled, the on-road math in Alappuzha becomes straightforward, though it still layers RTO registration, insurance and other statutory charges over the ex-showroom figure, and this markup shifts from city to city. In Alappuzha, the Petrol Smart MT, the base variant, is priced at Rs. 7.40 lakh ex-showroom, which becomes Rs. 8.55 lakh on-road once these charges are factored in.
An EMI of Rs. 12,389 against a loan of Rs. 7,70,000 is what the base model, Petrol Smart MT, translates to on paper, and that number is a sensible baseline before weighing whether a costlier trim's extra kit justifies the jump. Given that pricing already spans petrol, CNG and diesel across manual and automatic gearboxes, it pays to lock in the powertrain and feature list first, then let that decision steer which trim actually makes sense in Alappuzha.

With prices starting at Rs 7.40 lakh, the Nexon is among the most affordable options in the compact SUV segment.
Depending on your location and banking partner, the base Smart MT variant of the Tata Nexon has an EMI of Rs 11,906. This amount takes into account a loan tenure of seven years and 10 percent downpayment.
Hi Team, I am desperately trying to find an exact substitute of Tata Nexon Creative Plus PS (Petrol + Manual), in the same price range with exactly all features that this Tata Nexon variant offers, but with a better engine. Can you please suggest such a car?
The Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 Luxury petrol manual is the closest alternative to the Nexon Creative Plus PS petrol manual. It sits in the same price bracket, offers a similarly rich feature set and, crucially, has a stronger engine. The 3XO’s 131hp, 1.2 turbo petrol is more powerful and more responsive than the Nexon’s 1.2 turbo petrol, giving it a clear edge in both performance and drivability. The 3XO also benefits from a wider cabin, making it a more comfortable five-seater, and it comes with a strong safety package. The only significant drawback is the boot, which is one of the smallest in the segment. If boot space is a priority, the Skoda Kylaq 1.0 TSI manual is worth considering as well. It offers a more engaging driving experience and a larger boot, but it is not as feature-rich as the 3XO. Overall, the 3XO AX5 Luxury petrol manual is the best like-for-like alternative to the Nexon Creative Plus PS, with a clear advantage in engine performance.
I am confused between Tata Nexon Fearless DCA and Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5L TC. My average monthly running is 1000 km which includes 70% highway driving. Ride and cabin comfort, driving smoothness, reliability and safety are my priorities. Which one do you suggest? Please feel free to recommend any other car tested by Global NCAP.
Go for the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5L automatic. With 70% of your 1,000 km monthly running on highways, the 3XO's wider cabin, more supportive seats and better high-speed stability make it the more comfortable long-distance car. The 131hp, 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine paired with the 6-speed torque converter automatic is smoother than the Nexon's DCA. Mahindra's service reach is strong and the 3XO has a solid reliability track record. Safety is well covered too, with a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and a robust structure. The Nexon is a good car, but the dual-clutch automatic can feel hesitant at low speeds and the engine isn't as strong. If you want a GNCAP-tested alternative, the Skoda Kushaq is worth a look – it has a 5-star GNCAP rating, a strong turbo petrol engine and a well-sorted ride, but it will be more expensive than the Nexon and 3XO.
I am planning to buy a car with a budget of Rs 13.5 lakh on-road. I am confused between the Tata Nexon Camo Creative AMT and Maruti Suzuki Brezza 1.5 NA AMT. My driving is mostly in the city with occasional outstation trips. Which one should I choose?
Go for the Maruti Brezza 1.5 NA AT. With mostly city driving and occasional outstation trips, the Brezza’s refined naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with the 6-speed torque converter automatic is a better fit. It delivers a smoother, more predictable power delivery in stop-and-go traffic than the Nexon's AMT. The Brezza also benefits from Maruti’s extensive service network and proven long-term reliability, which is a big advantage for hassle-free ownership over many years. The Tata Nexon Camo Creativ AMT is a strong product with a more powerful turbo petrol engine, but the AMT gearbox is not as refined, and Tata’s ownership experience is still not quite at Maruti’s level. For your usage pattern, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is the more sensible and dependable choice.
