Tata has launched a new Pure+ PS trim for the Nexon compact SUV. The new trim is positioned between the mid-spec Pure+ S and Creative trims, and with a price tag of Rs 9.59 lakh, it has made the Nexon the most affordable car in India with a panoramic sunroof. It is being offered with the 118hp turbo-petrol, 99hp CNG and 113hp diesel engines, with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Tata has revealed that the new Pure+ PS trim is offered with a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 speakers (2 more than the lower-spec Pure+ S trim), cruise control and powered outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs). It also gets automatic LED headlights, rear parking camera with sensors and rain-sensing wipers. As mentioned earlier, the new trim makes the Nexon the only car in India to offer a panoramic sunroof under Rs 10 lakh. Earlier, this feature was available from the higher-spec Creative+ PS trim priced at Rs 11.32 lakh, which is 1.73 lakh more than the new Pure+ PS trim.
While Tata has yet to reveal the full feature suite, it is expected to borrow amenities like a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4-inch multi-information display (MID), rear AC vents, all four power windows and steering wheel-mounted controls from the Pure+ S trim.
