The Nexon diesel is ideal for those who frequently go on highway trips and want good mileage. The petrol variants of the Nexon are the most powerful and affordable up front, while the CNG variants offer lower running costs, albeit at a premium. Unlike the Nexon petrol and diesel, though, the CNG variants are not offered with an automatic gearbox option.

We recommend the Tata Nexon Diesel Creative MT (Rs 11.25 lakh, ex-showroom) as it offers all the features you need and gets a frugal yet peppy diesel engine. If you want an automatic, you can go with the Nexon Petrol Creative DCT, which costs exactly the same and offers the same features, albeit with higher running costs.
