The hybrid SUV and car segment has been gradually expanding in India. The next hybrid launch for India will be the Maruti SUV and its Toyota counterpart are likely to feature a petrol-hybrid engine.
Additionally, hybrid cars and SUVs that are on sale in India currently are the Honda City hybrid, the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Maruti Invicto, the Toyota Vellfire, Lexus LM 350h and a few others. In the near future, Hyundai will also launch its models in India with petrol hybrid powertrain.
