Go for the Renault Triber or its sister car the Nissan Gravite. They are both economical to buy and run and offer genuine three row seating comfort. At your budget you will also get the top end variant which comes very well equipped with features like a touchscreen music system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera, NFC card based central locking, rain sensing wipers and other bits. The only downside is the 1.0 litre engine is not really powerful and you have to work it hard in instances like overtaking, driving in the hills or when your are fully loaded. If this is a concern, opt for the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The engine is more powerful and easily manages everyday driving tasks even when fully loaded. Its also larger and thus would give you more room inside however at Rs. 10 lakh you would get the base version only.

For a tight budget of Rs. 10-15 lakh and a requirement for a 7-seater primarily for Mumbai city use with occasional highway runs, the Nissan Gravite AMT is actually a sensible choice. This Nissan car is one of the most affordable 7-seaters in the market and offers a genuinely usable third row, which is not always the case in this price bracket. The AMT gearbox is not the smoothest in stop-start traffic, but it is manageable and keeps the car within budget.That said, if you can stretch your budget slightly, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the better long-term ownership proposition. It is more refined, more comfortable and has a proven track record for reliability and low running costs. The Ertiga's third row is also more comfortable for longer journeys, and Maruti's service network is a big advantage.If budget is absolutely non-negotiable, the Gravite is a perfectly reasonable choice. The 6-speed auto is smooth in traffic, captain seats make second-row comfort a big step up from your Baleno, and running costs of this MPV stay friendly. New-for-new, the Zeta is the value pick; the Alpha mainly adds nice-to-haves. The catch is that the XL6 is a 6-seater, and with all rows up, the boot is small. Also, with a full load it feels just okay on highways, not brisk.If you want seven seats, look at the Maruti Ertiga Automatic or Toyota Rumion Automatic. Same proven hardware, low upkeep, wide service network, and better third-row access. Cabin quality is simpler than XL6, but perfectly usable. In Bengaluru, both autos usually creep over Rs. 15 lakh on-road, so used makes sense here too.If you must buy a new car under Rs. 15 lakh, the Renault Triber automatic is the only realistic seven-seater, but it feels a size smaller, and the engine feels weak with seven onboard.
