    Tata Harrier, Tigor, Nexon EV get benefits up to Rs 65,000 in May

    For the month of May, Tata dealerships are offering decent discounts and benefits on their cars, in a bid to boost sales. The models available with benefits include the Harrier SUV, the Tigor compact sedan, the Tiago hatchback, the Nexon compact SUV and the Nexon EV. Here’s how much you can save when buying a new Tata car this month.

    Tata Harrier discounts in May 2021

    Up to Rs 65,000 off

    Tata’s MG Hector and Hyundai Creta rival, the Harrier is powered by a solitary 170hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that can be had with either a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox. During the month of May, the Harrier can be had with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 65,000 on all variants except the CAMO Edition, Dark Edition, XZ+ and XZA+. However, the aforementioned variants do get benefits worth up to Rs 40,000.

    Tata Tigor discounts in May 2021

    Up to Rs 30,000 off

    The Tata Tigor is a stylish and spacious compact sedan that rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. It is powered by an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s available with either a 5-speed manual or AMT automatic gearbox. Dealerships are offering benefits worth up to Rs 30,000, which includes a cash discount and an exchange bonus. 

    Tata Tiago discounts in May 2021

    Up to Rs 25,000 off

    The Tata Tiago hatchback shares its mechanicals with the Tigor sedan. A rival to the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, the Tiago is a value-for-money product that’s also received a 4-star safety rating from Global NCAP. In May 2021, the Tiago is being offered with benefits worth Rs 25,000. 

    Tata Nexon discounts in May 2021

    Up to Rs 15,000 off

    The Tata Nexon competes in the heavily contested compact SUV space against the Hyundai VenueKia SonetMahindra XUV300Ford EcoSportMaruti Suzuki Vitara BrezzaToyota Urban CruiserNissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. The Nexon is available with a 110hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, both of which get manual and AMT gearbox options. Buyers can avail benefits worth Rs 15,000 on the Nexon diesel this month.

    Tata Nexon EV discounts in May 2021

    Up to Rs 15,000 off

    Dealerships are also offering benefits on the all-electric Nexon EV this month. The Nexon EV can be had benefits worth up to Rs 15,000 on the top-spec XZ+ LUX trim and up to Rs 10,000 on the mid-spec XZ+ trim. The Nexon EV comes with a 30.2kWh battery pack with a 312km ARAI-certified range, which powers a single 129hp electric motor.
