Tata Motors is offering attractive benefits and discounts this month on the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Harrier and Safari, applicable on both MY2023 and MY2024 models. Customers can avail of cash discounts, corporate benefits and exchange bonuses. Let’s take a closer look.

Tata Safari

Discounts of up to Rs 1.33 lakh

Unsold MY2023 stocks of the pre-facelift Safari are available with benefits of up to Rs 1.33 lakh this month. These include a cash discount of Rs 75,000, up to Rs 50,000 exchange or scrappage bonus and up to Rs 8,000 as corporate benefits. Meanwhile, the facelifted MY2023 models get up to Rs 88,000 off, which is inclusive of Rs 50,000 cash discount, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and a corporate bonus of Rs 8,000. Lastly, MY2024 models of the Safari only get an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 8,000.

The Safari combines solid underpinnings with great road presence and the practicality of seven seats. It rivals the Hyundai AlcazarMG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700.

Tata Harrier

Discounts of up to Rs 1.33 lakh

The Harrier, too, receives benefits of up Rs 1.33 lakh on unsold MY2023 pre-facelift stocks, while the facelifted MY2023 models get up to Rs 88,000 off. The benefits are similar to the Tata Safari for both pre-facelift and facelifted models. Meanwhile, MY2024 versions of the Harrier get benefits of up to Rs 38,000, including an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 8,000.

Like the Safari, the Harrier scores high on road presence and interior space, and is well-built with a fantastic ride and handling balance. It rivals the 5-seater Mahindra XUV700MG Hector and Jeep Compass.

Tata Tiago

Discounts of up to Rs 90,000

The Tiago petrol gets benefits of up to Rs 90,000 on MY23 models, which include Rs 65,000 cash discount, up to Rs 20,000 exchange or scrappage bonus and a Rs 5,000 corporate benefit. Meanwhile, the MY2024 units have a considerably lower cash discount of Rs 35,000. The CNG variants of the Tiago also receive benefits of up to Rs 85,000 and Rs 50,000 for MY2023 and MY2024 models, respectively.

The Tiago impresses with its well-specced cabin and attractive price, but is let down by its engine. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Tata Tigor

Discounts of up to Rs 85,000

MY2023 units of the Tigor are available with benefits of up to Rs 85,000 for both petrol and CNG variants, which includes a cash discount of up to Rs 60,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, MY2024 models have a much lower cash discount of Rs 30,000 and Rs 25,000 for petrol and CNG, respectively. Adding exchange bonus and corporate benefits, total discounts available on MY24 models include up to Rs 55,000 for petrol and up to Rs 50,000 for CNG.

The Tigor is based on the Tiago, and shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the hatchback. It is a friendly city commuter that’s good value for money and rivals the Honda AmazeMaruti Suzuki Dzire and the Hyundai Aura.

Tata Nexon

Discounts of up to Rs 90,000

The Nexon petrol is available with benefits of up to Rs 90,000, which is inclusive of a cash discount of Rs 55,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The diesel variants, meanwhile, get up to Rs 40,000 in cash discount and Rs 35,000 as exchange benefits. These offers are, however, applicable only on the pre-facelift MY2023 units.

The Nexon features premium interiors, and provides comfortable ride and handling on the highway. It rivals the Maruti Vitara BrezzaKia Sonet and the Hyundai Venue

Tata Altroz

Discounts of up to Rs 70,000

The Altroz is available with discounts of up to Rs 70,000 for MY2023 units of its petrol and diesel variants, which includes Rs 45,000 cash discount, Rs 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 corporate benefits. MY2024 units, meanwhile, only get up to Rs 25,000 cash discount on both petrol and diesel variants. Lastly, the CNG variants of the Altroz are available with benefits of up to Rs 55,000 and Rs 35,000 for MY2023 and MY2024 models, respectively.

The Altroz stands out with its impressive ride and handling, stylish exterior design, and feel-good interiors. However, its powertrains leave you wanting for more. It competes with the Maruti Suzuki BalenoHyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza.
