The Honda Civic is an executive sedan that, as of now, is the carmaker’s flagship sedan in India. Visually, the Civic is very distinctive, with its fastback-like shape and sporty stance. The Civic can be had with a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a CVT, or a 1.6-litre diesel engine with a manual gearbox. Honda also recently launched the BS6 Civic diesel in VX and ZX trims with a minimal price hike.

Powering the WR-V is a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Unfortunately, both engines can only be had with a manual gearbox, as the facelift still doesn’t get an automatic gearbox option.

Though it’s a hatchback-based crossover, due to its size and pricing, the WR-V competes with compact SUVs, like the Tata NexonHyundai VenueMahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.

Honda dealers are offering a cash discount of up to Rs 25,000 across all variants of the WR-V as well as a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus.
