Up to Rs 1 lakh off on Hyundai cars in October 2020

Buyers can avail of discounts on the Elantra, i20, Grand i10, Santro, Grand i10 Nios and the Aura; carmaker to hold nine-day service camp, from October 14 to 22.

Hyundai is offering some sizeable discounts on select models in its line-up, for the month of October. Customers can avail of benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on the carmaker’s range of sedans and hatchbacks. There are no discounts on the Creta, Venue and Verna this month. 

The carmaker has also announced a ‘Navratri Car Care Camp’, which will be held from October 14 to 22. Under the service camp, owners will be entitled to discounts on labour and services.

Hyundai Elantra discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh

The Hyundai Elantra looks striking, is refined, spacious and comes with a long list of equipment. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre petrol or 1.5-litre diesel engine, both paired to either a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox.  The petrol Elantra can be had with cash discounts of up to Rs 70,000 and a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus. The diesel is only available with the latter.

Hyundai Elite i20 discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 75,000

With an all-new model round the corner, the current Hyundai i20 can be had with benefits worth up to Rs 75,000, inclusive of a Rs 50,000 cash discount, this month. A rival to the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Honda Jazz, the i20 can only be had with an 83hp 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The current model misses out on an automatic gearbox option and a diesel engine, which will be reintroduced on the all-new car. 

Hyundai Grand i10 discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 60,000

Positioned between the Nios and the Santro, the Hyundai Grand i10 will appeal to buyers looking for a decently equipped and spacious hatchback for not too much money. The strengths of the Grand i10 lie in its good low-speed ride, light controls and a peppy petrol engine, which make it easy to drive in the city. Buyers can avail of a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000 on the hatchback with a further Rs 15,000 off on the exchange of their old car.

Hyundai Santro discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 45,000

The entry point to the range, the Hyundai Santro is available with a 69hp, 1.1-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, depending on the variant selected. Those looking for some green credentials also get a factory-fitted CNG variant. The Maruti Wagon R and Tata Tiago rival can be had with cash benefits of up to Rs 25,000 with further benefits in the form of corporate discounts and a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus.

Hyundai Aura discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 30,000

Hyundai’s second-gen compact sedan, the Aura, is spacious, well-equipped and comes with a set of refined engines – a 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol; a 83hp, 1.2 naturally aspirated petrol; and a 75hp, 1.2-litre diesel. Keen drivers will like the turbo-petrol for the performance it offers, while the light controls and the option of AMT gearboxes with the 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines also make the car quite city friendly. The Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze rival is available with cash discounts of up to Rs 10,000, aside from an exchange bonus and corporate discounts.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios discounts

Benefits of up to Rs 25,000

A rival to the Maruti Swift and Ford Figo, the Grand i10 Nios shares its engines with the Aura. Buyers will like the Nios’ spacious and well-appointed cabin, and city friendly dynamics, while keen drivers will enjoy the punchy turbo-petrol engine; the Nios Turbo is the quickest mass-market hatchback on sale in the country, as per our testing. Buyers can avail of discounts and benefits of up to Rs 25,000 on the hatchback.

Hyundai Navratri service camp

As mentioned above, Hyundai has also announced a nine-day service camp, starting from October 14 till October 22. Under the service camp, Hyundai has said it will be offering owners a 20 percent discount on interior and exterior cleaning, anti-rust treatment and body paint, and a 10 percent discount on wheel alignment and balancing.

Additionally, owners can avail of a 15 percent discount on mechanical labour charges on periodic service or repair, if their vehicle is older than five years. Owners of newer models will get a 5 percent discount on labour charges for vehicle repair. Also offered is a complimentary 50-point vehicle check-up.
