    Tata cars, SUVs available with up to Rs 85,000 discount this month

    For the month of January, Tata dealerships are offering sizeable discounts and benefits on a number of models, including the Harrier and Safari SUVs, the Tigor compact sedan, the Tiago and Altroz hatchbacks and the Nexon compact SUV. Here’s how much you can save when buying a new Tata car.

    Tata Harrier

    Up to Rs 85,000 off

    Tata’s MG Hector rival, the Harrier is powered by a solitary 170hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that can be had with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Tata’s 5-seat midsize SUV is known for its spacious and comfortable cabin.

    During this month, the 2021 model year Harrier can be had with a cash discount and exchange bonus of up to Rs 60,000, while the 2022 Harrier is available with an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000. Furthermore, there’s also a corporate discount up to Rs 25,000 on the Harrier.

    Tata Safari

    Up to Rs 60,000 off

    The Tata Safari, like the Harrier, gets a solitary 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine, with manual and automatic gearbox options. The flagship SUV comes in six- and seven-seater options and rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar.

    Buyers can avail an exchange bonus and cash discount worth up to Rs 60,000 on all variants of the 2021 Safari. For the 2022 model year, buyers can get up to Rs 40,000 exchange bonus.

    Tata Tigor

    Up to Rs 35,000 off

    The Tata Tigor is a spacious and stylish compact sedan that rivals the Maruti Suzuki DzireHyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. It is powered by an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.

    Dealerships are offering a cash discount and an exchange bonus worth up to Rs 25,000 and Rs 20,000 on 2021 Tigors and 2022 Tigors, respectively. Additionally, there’s also a corporate discount up to Rs 10,000 on offer.

    Tata Tiago

    Up to Rs 30,000 off

    The Tata Tiago hatchback is mechanically identical to the Tigor sedan. A rival to the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki WagonR, the Tiago is a spacious hatch that’s also received a 4-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

    The 2021 model year Tiago is being offered with benefits worth Rs 25,000, while the 2022 models get benefits worth Rs 20,000. There’s also a corporate discount worth Rs 5,000 on the Tiago this month.

    Tata Nexon

    Up to Rs 25,000 off

    The Tata Nexon is available with a 110hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, both of which get manual and AMT gearbox options. It competes in the heavily contested compact SUV space against the Hyundai VenueKia SonetMahindra XUV300Ford EcoSportMaruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Toyota Urban Cruiser.

    Buyers can avail an exchange bonus worth Rs 15,000 on the 2021 Nexon diesel this month. Furthermore, there’s also a corporate discount worth Rs 5,000 for the Nexon petrol and Rs 10,000 for the Nexon diesel.

    Tata Altroz

    Up to Rs 10,000 off

    Tata Altroz rivals other premium hatchback like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Honda Jazz. The hatchback is available with three engine options – an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol, a 90hp, 1.5-litre diesel and a 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol.

    For January 2022, Tata dealerships are offering a corporate discount worth up to Rs 10,000 for the Altroz diesel and Rs 7,500 for the naturally aspirated petrol.
