The Citroen eC3 is the only electric offering from the French manufacturer in India, which is based on the C3 hatchback. Prices of the Citroen EV range between ₹11.99 lakh and ₹13.26 lakh.
The Citroen eC3 variants include 3 choices, including Live, Live (O), and Shine. All variants of the eC3 come with a 29.2kWh battery pack. The battery pack is mated with a front-axle-mounted (FWD) electric motor that produces 57hp and 143Nm. It does a 0-60kph run in 6.8 seconds before maxing out at 107kph.
The Citroen eC3 claimed range is 325km, and the battery can be recharged from 10-80 percent in 57 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Compared to its predecessor, the ec3X gets projector LED headlamps, revised 5-inch alloy wheels, and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs. On the inside, it comes with a blue and beige theme with a leatherette seat upholstery.
Also new is a 7-inch coloured digital driver’s display, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), a dashcam, a 6-speaker JBL audio system (2 more speakers than before) and a wireless phone charger. A dashcam and JBL speakers can be had as optional extras.
The Citroen eC3 rivals include the Tata Punch EV.
