The Tata Curvv now has a Dark Edition, just like the SafariNexon and Harrier SUVs, and it is priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 19.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Tata Motors has launched the blacked-out version of the Curvv just days after the Citroen Basalt coupe SUV, its direct rival, got a Dark Edition.

Tata Curvv Dark Edition: price and engine options

1.2-litre GDI petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options

As mentioned in our previous report, the Dark Edition will be solely available in the range-topping Curvv Accomplished trim, which can be had with either a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol engine that makes 125hp, 225Nm or a 1.5-litre diesel engine with an output of 118hp, 260Nm. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Tata Curvv Dark Edition: what’s new?

Exterior

Besides a new Carbon Black paint courtesy of the Dark Edition, an all-black treatment has been given to the bumpers, grille and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Curvv coupe SUV continues to get full-width LED light bars at the front and back and gloss black cladding on the wheel arches.

Interior

On the inside, Tata has applied the black theme to the leatherette upholstery, centre console and roof liner. Features on offer include a nine-speaker JBL sound system, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, air purifier, disc brakes for all wheels and six airbags. A 12.3-inch touchscreen, Amazon Alexa, ADAS suite and gesture-controlled tailgate are additional features available with the Curvv Accomplished+ A variant.
