Up to Rs 70,000 off on Maruti Suzuki Arena cars, SUVs, MPVs

Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships are offering discounts on various cars in its line-up this month. Some of these major discounts are to clear the existing stocks of the previous-generation models of the Ertiga MPV and the Wagon R hatchback. You can also avail decent discounts on the recently launched facelift of the Maruti Alto 800 and a few other cars. Here’s a look at the list of Maruti hatchbacks, SUVs and MPVs on which you can avail discounts at your nearest Maruti Suzuki dealership.

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (Old)

    Save up to Rs 70,000
The second-generation Maruti Ertiga, which has been on sale in India since November 2018, is better in every aspect when compared to the first generation model – even the cabin of the seven-seat MPV feels more spacious and upmarket. Some dealerships are still clearing stocks of previous-gen models and are offering benefits of up to Rs 70,000 on the diesel SHVS model. If you are looking specifically for the petrol or CNG variant, you can avail discounts in the range of Rs 15,000 and Rs 35,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

Save up to Rs 60,000 (Previous generation)/ Rs 20,000 (New)
The previous generation Wagon R was a popular car among the masses, and like the Ertiga, many dealers still have some unsold models. You can get discounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 depending upon the variant and availability.

Many owners of the previous generation Wagon R felt that the car needed a bigger engine. Maruti did just that by introducing the 1.2-litre K-series engine on the new Wagon R. Dealerships are offering discounts up to Rs 20,000 across all variants of the 2019 Maruti Wagon R.

    Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

    Save up to Rs 53,000
The Alto K10 is powered by a bigger 68hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine. Visually, it is quite different from the Alto 800 and is offered with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes. Customers can get up to Rs 53,000 off on the manual variant and Rs 48,000 off on the AMT variant. There’s also a CNG variant that makes 59hp – select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealers are offering discounts up to Rs 43,000 on this variant.

    Maruti Suzuki Celerio

    Save up to Rs 53,000
Sitting in a segment above the Alto, the Maruti Celerio sports the same 1.0-litre engine as the K10. It is also offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. It is priced aggressively against the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro and the dealerships are offering discounts of up to 53,000 for the standard and the Celerio X cross-hatch variant. It is also worth noting that the Celerio Tour H2, which is specific to the fleet market, is being offered with discounts up to Rs 75,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Dzire

    Save up to Rs 48,000
In the compact sedan segment, the Maruti Dzire outsells its competitors by a huge margin. Engine options include an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol and a 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel, both of which are offered with the option of an automatic gearbox. The Dzire is priced on a slightly higher side in comparison to its competition, but customers can avail benefits up to Rs 48,000 on all variants. The Tour S variant is also offered with an option of CNG and dealership discounts go up to Rs 65,000 for this one.

    Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    Save up to Rs 43,000
While the Alto – Maruti’s bestselling car – received a major update recently, buyers of the previous model can now avail benefits and discounts up to Rs 43,000. Powering the older model car is a 48hp, 0.8-litre petrol engine that has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.7kpl. You also have a 41hp, CNG option available on the LXi and LXi (O) variants.

    Maruti Suzuki Swift

    Save up to Rs 43,000
The current-generation of the Swift is more practical than before, has plenty more features and is also fun-to-drive. It gets the same set of engines as the Dzire, with an automatic option on both motors. If you are looking for a petrol variant, dealerships are offering benefits up to Rs 38,000, while Maruti Swift diesel variants are up to Rs 43,000 cheaper.

    Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

    Benefits up to Rs 38,000
Since its launch in 2016, the Maruti Vitara Brezza has been a strong competitor in the compact SUV segment, leading sales by a considerable margin. Powering the SUV is a 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel engine, which is available with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. You can avail discounts of up to Rs 38,000 on the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 rival at dealerships across India.

    Maruti Suzuki Eeco

    Save up to Rs 18,000
Maruti’s people carrier is quite popular among the taxi and fleet operators. The Eeco has plenty of space for people and luggage, and also has low running costs. For private vehicles, dealerships are offering discounts up to Rs 18,000. The Tour V variant, which is focused on the fleet operators, gets discounts up to Rs 25,000.
