JSW MG Motor India has become the latest carmaker to announce a price hike, increasing prices of its ICE and EV lineup by up to 2 percent from April 1. It should be noted that this does not include MG Select models: Cyberster and M9. "This price revision is aimed at partially offsetting the impact of continuously rising input costs," the company stated. Other carmakers such as Tata, BMW and Mercedes-Benz announced price hikes earlier this month.
- Prices may go up by over Rs 86,000 from next financial year
- MG's current lineup spans 6 models

MG did not share which models will get the steepest price increase or the exact price revisions for each vehicle. "Customers are encouraged to contact their nearest MG dealership or visit the official MG India website to stay updated on model-specific pricing," it stated.
Currently, the Comet EV is MG's most affordable car, priced from Rs 7.5 lakh, while the Gloster is the most expensive model with a starting price of Rs 38.33 lakh. Going by the current MG car prices, a price adjustment of between Rs 15,000 and Rs 86,320 is likely, depending on the model and variant. MG is yet to announce the prices for the new Majestor and the diesel lineup of the Hector and Hector Plus.
