Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on select models from its Nexa line-up like the Baleno, Ignis and Ciaz in October. The company is offering a ‘Pre-Navratri booking scheme' of up to Rs 5,000 on all models mentioned above, however, this can be availed only until October 15. Popular models like the Grand Vitara, Jimny and Fronx get no such discounts.

    Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Benefits of up to Rs 65,000

All variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis with a manual gearbox are offered with benefits of up to Rs 65,000 and the ones with the automatic gearbox get slightly less benefits, of up to Rs 60,000.

The Ignis is a spacious and efficient hatchback that comes with a 1.2-litre engine making 83hp and 113Nm. The compact car is offered with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission and it gets no CNG option.

    Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Benefits of up to Rs 55,000

Both petrol manual and petrol-automatic variants of the Baleno are available with benefits of up to Rs 40,000, while the CNG-powered variant is offered with a discount of Rs 55,000.

The Baleno is offered with a 1.2-litre engine that produces 90hp, 113Nm and can be mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. The engine is efficient and great for city use, however, if you require greater efficiency, there's also a CNG variant that uses the same 1.2-litre engine. While using CNG, the engine output drops to 78hp and 98.5Nm, and it is only available with the 5-speed manual gearbox.

    Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Benefits of up to Rs 53,000

All variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz come with benefits of up to Rs 53,000 for the month of October. The offer is available on both manual and automatic versions of the sedan.

The Ciaz is powered by a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and is available with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It rivals other sedans like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City, and while the Ciaz isn't as exciting or feature-loaded as them, the space it offers for the price makes it a reasonable choice.
