Seen in comparison to the despatches of its rivals, the Syros sits at the lower end of the compact SUV segment. Not only does its sibling, the Sonet, outsell the Syros, but so do both of Maruti’s compact SUVs – the Fronx and Brezza – along with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO. Nonetheless, the Syros is ahead of the Skoda Kylaq, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Taisor and Renault Kiger.
