Tata Nexon price in Lakhimpur

₹8.03 - ₹15.98 Lakh
On road price in
EMI starting at ₹11,584 /month

For the Nexon, the real decision buyers face is not just trim but powertrain: Tata sells the Nexon in petrol, CNG and diesel forms, and depending on which one you pick, there are four distinct gearbox layouts on offer. Once that choice is settled, the on-road math in Lakhimpur becomes straightforward, though it still layers RTO registration, insurance and other statutory charges over the ex-showroom figure, and this markup shifts from city to city. In Lakhimpur, the Petrol Smart MT, the base variant, is priced at Rs. 7.40 lakh ex-showroom, which becomes Rs. 8.03 lakh on-road once these charges are factored in.

  • Base variant, Petrol Smart MT: Rs. 8.03 lakh on-road in Lakhimpur
  • Diesel Fearless + PS Red #Dark AMT, the top variant and top model in the range, with a panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system, blind spot monitor and cornering headlights: Rs. 15.98 lakh on-road
  •  Automatic gearbox trims cost more than the equivalent manual; the Smart AMT, for instance, carries roughly Rs. 1.67 lakh premium over the base model's manual gearbox
  • Autocar's value pick: the Creative petrol trim, which brings adaptive cruise control, climate control and blind spot monitoring without stepping up to the range-topping Fearless trim

An EMI of Rs. 11,584 against a loan of Rs. 7,20,000 is what the base model, Petrol Smart MT, translates to on paper, and that number is a sensible baseline before weighing whether a costlier trim's extra kit justifies the jump. Given that pricing already spans petrol, CNG and diesel across manual and automatic gearboxes, it pays to lock in the powertrain and feature list first, then let that decision steer which trim actually makes sense in Lakhimpur.

Nexon's rear camera resolution still holds up well even in low light parking situations. Small thing but it's made night parking noticeably less stressful.

I have a Tata Nexon Creative AMT that is only a year old, but I have already had to replace the spark plugs four times and the ignition coil once. I am still facing engine misfires and vibrations inside the car. I am honestly fed up with Tata's service, as they have been unable to resolve the issue. I am therefore planning to sell the Nexon and buy a Kia Seltos with a manual transmission this time. My priority was safety earlier, and it remains my top priority. However, I now also want peace of mind and a hassle-free ownership experience. Would selling the Nexon and switching to the Seltos be a good decision?

Yes, it is a good decisionYes, it is a good decision to sell the Tata Nexon and move to the Seltos manual. The Nexon is generally a safe and well-engineered car, but if you are facing repeated engine issues and the service centre is unable to resolve them, it is understandable to lose confidence in the ownership experience. The Kia Seltos is a very well-rounded SUV with a strong safety package, a more refined ownership experience and a good service network. The manual transmission is also a good choice if you want to avoid any potential automatic gearbox-related issues. Overall, if peace of mind and a hassle-free ownership experience are your top priorities, the Seltos is a sensible upgrade.

Hi Experts, I’m Omkar, and I want to buy a new car. My usage will mainly involve occasional 1,000 km trips to my native place, along with some weekend picnics. Only around 5% of my annual driving will be in the city. My budget is Rs. 8-12 lakh, and my priorities are reliability, highway comfort, safety, and low service costs. Please suggest which would be the better choice for me among the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Boosterjet. With your usage pattern of a 1,000 km native-place trip, occasional picnics and only 5% city use, the Brezza is the most sensible choice. It is a proven, reliable car with a strong service network and low maintenance costs, which is exactly what you need for long-term ownership. On the highway, it is comfortable and stable, and the turbo petrol engine gives good performance for overtakes. Since most of your driving is on the highway, you likely won't mind that the turbo only comes with a manual. Safety is well addressed, and Maruti’s widespread service network ensures peace of mind wherever you travel. The Nexon and 3XO are good highway cars too, but they can't quite match Maruti in terms of service reach and running costs. The Fronx is a solid option, but the Brezza feels like a larger car and better suited to your highway-focused usage.

I’m a little confused about whether I should buy the Brezza VXi CNG or the Tata Nexon Pure Plus CNG. Many people are telling me that Tata cars may develop vibration and engine noise issues after some time, while the Brezza has lower maintenance costs and better service/parts availability. On the other hand, the Nexon has more power than the Brezza. Considering performance, mileage, maintenance, reliability, spare parts availability, service, resale value, and long-term ownership, which car would you recommend as the best option for me? Please give me your honest and practical suggestion.

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi CNG. This Maruti Suzuki car is the safer and more sensible long-term choice. The Brezza is a proven product with a strong reliability record, lower maintenance costs and Maruti's unmatched service network and parts availability. With the recent update, the Brezza also now has an underfloor CNG tank, so you do not lose boot space. It is also a comfortable and practical family car with good ride quality and a simple, fuss-free ownership experience. The Tata Nexon Pure Plus CNG is the more powerful car on paper, and Tata's CNG integration is also well done. Tata's service has improved significantly but it can still be inconsistent. Maruti retains an edge in terms of reach, consistency and parts availability. If your priorities are performance and driving enjoyment, the Nexon is a strong contender. But if you are looking for a reliable, low-maintenance CNG car with a hassle-free ownership experience, the Brezza CNG is the better choice.

I am a first-time driver with an annual running of no more than 6,000 km and need an automatic car. I am confused between the Tata Nexon 1.2 AMT Creative+ at around Rs. 13 lakh, which offers features such as a 360-degree camera and panoramic sunroof, and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi AT at a similar price. Should I choose the Brezza VXi AT or stretch my budget to around Rs. 14.5 lakh for the ZXi variant with a reverse camera? I liked the Nexon's comfort and spacious cabin. Will the AMT gearbox be suitable for 75% city driving and 25% hill driving around Pune?

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi automatic. The torque converter automatic is far smoother and more predictable in stop-start traffic and on hilly terrain compared to the Tata Nexon AMT, which can feel jerky at low speeds and on the hills. This Maruti Suzuki car is a more reliable and hassle-free car to own, with Maruti's strong service network and lower maintenance costs. If you can stretch your budget, the ZXi variant is worth considering for the added features, but the VXi itself is a solid, no-nonsense choice. You can also consider the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which gets a turbo-petrol engine and a torque converter. It will deliver punchier performance and is better value than the Brezza
