    Up to Rs 64,400 off on Honda City, Amaze, WR V, Jazz, CR-V in February 2020

    Honda Cars India has extended its new car discount schemes till February 20, 2021 that includes discounts of up to Rs 64,400 on some models.

    • The 4th and 5th gen City, Amaze, WR-V, Jazz, and CR-V are on discount this month
    • Discounts on MY20 and MY21 models
    • Discounts and benefits range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 64,400

    Honda WR-V discounts: February 2021

    The Honda WR-V facelift was launched in July 2020 and brought with it subtle cosmetic upgrades, while still retaining the same spacious cabin as the pre-facelift model. It also retained the same engines, albeit upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. The WR-V is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel unit, both only available with a manual gearbox.

    Although based on the Jazz, the WR-V’s size and pricing puts it in competition with compact SUVs such as the Tata NexonKia SonetHyundai VenueMahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.

    Honda dealers are offering cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 for all variants of the WR-V except the VX MT Exclusive Edition grades. Alternatively, customers can opt for Rs 29,427 worth of free accessories instead of a cash discount. The Exclusive Edition grades have a maximum cash discount of Rs 10,000 or the same value in accessories, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.

    From February 21, 2020, the cash bonus will be reduced to Rs 15,000 for all variants except the VX MT Exclusive Edition grades, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Alternatively, customers can opt for Rs 17, 527 worth of free accessories. 

    Honda Jazz discounts: February 2021

    Honda launched the updated Jazz in August 2020 with changes to its engine options – the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel unit was dropped from the line-up. The updated Jazz can be had with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol unit paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Being a premium hatchback, the Jazz competes with the Tata AltrozMaruti Suzuki BalenoHyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza.

    Interested buyers can avail up to Rs 25,000 as a cash discount or opt for free accessories worth Rs 29,365. From February 21, 2020, buyers will be able to avail up to Rs 15,000 or opt for free accessories worth Rs 17,248. Both schemes come with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. These offers are applicable across all variants of the Jazz.

    Honda Amaze discounts: February 2021

    The second generation Honda Amaze comes with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, however, both engine options are offered with a CVT automatic gearbox as well. 

    Honda is offering a cash discount of up to Rs 15,000 or free accessories worth Rs 18,106, along with a free extended warranty for the 4th and 5th year on all grades except Special and Exclusive editions. Honda is also offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000. S MT and S CVT Special edition grades are offered with either a cash discount of Rs 7,000 (or free accessories worth Rs 7,000) or an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000, but not both. Buyers interested in the VX MT and VX CVT Exclusive Edition grades can avail of a cash discount of Rs 12,000, or free accessories for the same value, in addition to a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus. 

    From February 21, 2021, Honda will offer its buyers discounts on all grades except Special and Exclusive editions. As part of this scheme, buyers can avail of a cash discount of Rs 12,500 or free accessories worth Rs 14,497, in addition to an exchange bonus of Rs 12,500.

    Honda City (fifth-gen) discounts: February 2021

    Honda launched the fifth-gen City in August 2020 which, like its predecessor, competes in the mid-size sedan segment against cars such as the Skoda RapidVolkswagen VentoMaruti Suzuki CiazToyota YarisHyundai Verna and even the older fourth-gen City.

    The fifth-gen City comes with both, a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 121hp, 1.5-litre petrol unit. Both engine options come with a 6-speed manual as standard, whereas the petrol is offered with a CVT automatic as well.

    Honda dealers are offering cash discounts of up to Rs 10,000 or free accessories worth Rs 10,798 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 across all variants. Buyers will only be able to avail of a Rs 10,000 exchange bonus from February 21, 2021 onwards. 

    Honda new car discounts: February 2021

    In addition to the discounts mentioned above, Honda is also offering a “UIO” loyalty bonus of Rs 6,000 to buyers who either own a Honda car registered in India, or are the parent / spouse / child / sibling of a Honda owner in India. Another loyalty perk for Honda owners is an additional cash bonus of Rs 10,000 for trading in an existing Honda car against a new one. 

    Although Honda hasn’t extended any cash discounts on the fourth-gen City and CR-V, the aforementioned “UIO” discounts are still applicable to them. 

    Honda is also offering corporate discounts for its models. The Amaze, WR-V, and Jazz can be had with up to Rs 4,000 off, whereas corporate buyers of the fourth and fifth generation Honda City can avail of up to Rs 8,000 off. The CR-V can be had with a maximum corporate discount of up to Rs 18,000.

    Honda Civic, CR-V discontinued

    Honda India has discontinued the Civic and the CR-V in the Indian market and dealers are offering leftover units at major discounts depending on inventory.
