Discounts of up to Rs 27,000 on Honda City, Jazz, WR-V this month

    Honda is offering multiple discounts and benefits on its fifth-generation City, Jazz and WR-V in June 2022. We compile a list of how much you can save on each car.

    Honda City (Gen 5)

    Benefits up to Rs 27,396

    The City, which is a popular, spacious and feature-laden midsize sedan from the Japanese automaker, gets the maximum discount this month. The sedan gets two engine options – a 120hp, 1.5-litre VTEC petrol engine with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic, or a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel that’s only offered with a 6-speed manual. Customers can get cash discounts of up to Rs 5,000 or free accessories worth Rs 5,396, in addition to exchange benefits and corporate discounts of up to Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. There's also a Rs 5,000 discount on exchange and another Rs 5,000 on customer loyalty bonus.

    Honda WR-V

    Benefits up to Rs 27,000

    Being the derivative of the Jazz, the WR-V is a crossover that sports an increased ride height and gets unique styling cues, a spacious cabin and multiple convenience features. The WR-V is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual, and doesn’t come with an automatic gearbox. Dealerships are offering exchange, corporate and loyalty benefits amounting up to Rs 27,000, albeit only on the petrol variants of the crossover.

    Honda Jazz

    Benefits up to Rs 25,947

    As of this month, dealerships are offering cash discounts of up to Rs 5,000, or free accessories worth Rs 5,947 on the Jazz. Additionally, Honda is also offering Rs 5,000 as an exchange bonus, corporate benefits of up to Rs 3,000, as well as a combined loyalty and exchange bonus of up to Rs 12,000. The premium hatchback is powered by a sole 90hp, 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that’s mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.

    Honda City (Gen 4)

    Benefits up to Rs 12,000

    The brand continues to sell the previous-gen City alongside its successor and it offers good interior space and a pliant ride. Interested customers can get the 4th-gen City only in two petrol manual variants – specifically the SV and V trim, which is powered by the 119hp, 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine. Honda offers a loyalty and exchange bonus on the midsize sedan amounting to Rs 5,000 and Rs 7,000, respectively.

    Honda Amaze

    Benefits up to Rs 8,000

    Receiving a mid-life cycle update in 2021, the Amaze features updated styling cues on the exterior and a few new features on the interior. The compact sedan remains mechanically unchanged – a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and 100hp, (80hp in the automatic) 1.5-litre diesel engine. Honda offers a loyalty bonus and corporate discount amounting to Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000, respectively.
