    Attractive discounts on Hyundai Verna, Grand i10, Xcent, Elantra, Tucson

    Hyundai dealers across the country are offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 2 lakh on select models in a bid to give some fillip to sales. Here is a look at the deals you can avail.

    Hyundai Elantra

    Benefits up to Rs 2 lakh
    Hyundai's executive sedan comes with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines and a choice of manual and automatic gearbox options. The Elantra is set to receive a facelift in the coming months with the updated model already on sale in international markets. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 2 lakh, which includes cash discounts of over Rs 1 lakh.

    Hyundai Tucson

    Benefits up to Rs 1 lakh
    Hyundai’s flagship SUV in India is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh across all variants. The Tucson can be had with either a 185hp, 2.0-litre diesel or a 155hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine, mated to manual or automatic gearboxes. The top-end diesel gets all-wheel drive.

    Hyundai Grand i10

    Benefits up to Rs 1 lakh
    Benefits and discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh are being offered on the Hyundai Grand i10 in a bid to clear stock before the launch of the all-new model later this year. The Grand i10 is offered in 13 variants with the choice of a 1.2-litre petrol – offered with a factory-fit CNG kit on select variants – or a 1.2-litre diesel engine. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard with the petrol, while a 4-speed torque converter automatic unit is an option. The benefits also extend to the Grandi10 Prime that is targeted at fleet operators.

    Hyundai Xcent

    Benefits up to Rs 1 lakh
    The compact sedan sibling of the Grand i10, the Xcent is also due for a generation change with test mules already seen testing on public roads. Hyundai is offering benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh across the compact sedan line-up. The Xcent share its engine and gearbox options with the Grand i10, and also gets a Prime variant that's targeted at fleet operators.

    Hyundai Verna

    Benefits up to Rs 45,000
    Hyundai mid-sized sedan is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 45,000 across all variants. A rival to the Honda City and Maruti Ciaz, the Verna gets a choice of four engine options – a 100hp, 1.4 petrol, a 90hp, 1.4 diesel, a 123hp, 1.6 petrol and a 128hp, 1.6 diesel. While buyers may find the Verna's rear seat space to be limited when compared to a few rivals, it does scores well when it comes to refinement, quality and the equipment list in higher variants.

    Hyundai Santro

    Benefits up to Rs 45,000
    The Hyundai Santro rivals models such as the Maruti Celerio and Tata Tiago in the budget hatchback segment. The Santro holds the distinction of being the first Hyundai to get an AMT option, and is offered with a sole 69hp, 1.1-litre petrol engine and gets the option of a factory fit CNG kit as well. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 45,000 on the budget hatchback.

    Hyundai Elite i20, i20 Active

    Benefits up to Rs 30,000
    Hyundai’s premium hatchback and its crossover derivative can be had with benefits of up to Rs 30,000 across all variants. Both models attract buyers thanks to their looks, premium cabin and features list. Engine options include an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 90hp, 1.4-litre diesel. The petrol unit on the hatchback gets the option of a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox.
