Cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

Sunroofs have become a near-ubiquitous feature in India’s mass-market models owing to immense demand from buyers. They were mostly seen in the premium end of the price spectrum, but these days, sunroofs are available even in cars and SUVs priced under Rs 10 lakh. Here’s a list of the most affordable cars in India with a single-pane sunroof.

Note: Images of the top-spec trims of the cars are used for representation only.

10. Hyundai Venue

Available from the HX5 trim, prices start at Rs 9.35 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

Hyundai’s second-gen Venue comes with a sunroof from the HX5 trim level onwards. This Venue trim is available with all three engine options: an 83hp 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 120hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel. Gearbox options include a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT.

9. Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Available from the ZXI+ trim, priced at Rs 8.86 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Maruti Dzire is the only sedan on this list and offers a sunroof solely in its top-spec ZXI+ trim, which gets 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options with the 82hp/112Nm 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. The Dzire is also the most affordable Maruti Suzuki car to offer this feature.

8. Mahindra XUV 3XO

Available from the RevX M (O) trim, priced at Rs 8.71 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

A single-pane sunroof on the Mahindra XUV 3XO is available from the RevX M (O) trim, which is powered by a 111hp/200Nm 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Notably, the sub-4-metre SUV's higher trims get a panoramic sunroof.

Interestingly, the RevX A trim – priced at Rs 10.74 lakh – makes the XUV 3XO the most affordable model with a panoramic sunroof in India. So, if you’re considering buying this Mahindra, a slight stretch in the budget can net you a larger sunroof.

7. Tata Nexon

Available from the Smart+ S trim, priced at Rs 8.30 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Tata Nexon comes with a sunroof starting from its Smart+ S trim. This Nexon trim can be had with one of these three powertrains: an 88hp/170Nm 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a 5-speed manual, an 85hp/260Nm 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and a 73.5hp 170Nm petrol-CNG setup paired with a 6-speed manual.

Like the XUV 3XO, the Nexon is available with a panoramic sunroof as well. However, this amenity is available from the higher-spec Creative+ PS trim, which is priced at Rs 11.25 lakh.

6. Skoda Kylaq

Available from the Classic+ trim, priced at Rs 8.25 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Kylaq’s one-over-base Classic+ trim, which was launched in January 2026, has made it the most affordable Skoda car to get a single-pane sunroof. This trim is offered with a 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is available with both manual and automatic gearbox options. Notably, this is also the most affordable trim in the Kylaq’s line-up to offer a torque-converter gearbox option.

5. Kia Sonet

Available from the HTE (O) trim, priced at Rs 7.70 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Sonet may be identical to the Venue beneath the skin, but its sunroof-equipped HTE(O) trim does cost a lot less than the Venue's most affordable sunroof trim. With a lower price tag, though, the Sonet misses out on the punchier 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as well as the automatic options available with the petrol and diesel engines, all of which are offered with the Venue HX5.

However, the availability of a sunroof in the HTE (O) trim makes the Sonet the most affordable diesel car in India to offer a sunroof.

4. Tata Altroz

Available from the Pure S trim, priced at Rs 7.36 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Altroz gets a sunroof from the Pure S trim, offered with both petrol and CNG options. Petrol variants feature a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine producing 88hp and 115Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. In the CNG guise, it is available only with a manual transmission, and it puts out 74hp and 103Nm. Notably, the Altroz also gets a 90hp diesel engine, but it is available with a sunroof in the higher-spec Creative S trim priced at Rs 9.32 lakh.

3. Hyundai i20

Available from the Magna trim, priced at Rs 7.12 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

Hyundai’s premium hatchback, the i20, gets a sunroof starting from the Magna trim, which is offered with an 83hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine. The higher trims also feature voice-enabled sunroof operation. Notably, the i20 N-Line also offers a single-pane sunroof from its base-spec N6 trim priced from Rs 9.22 lakh. The i20 N-Line, however, is available with a more powerful 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, also offered with the Sonet and Venue.

2. Tata Punch

Available from the Pure+ S trim, priced at Rs 7.35 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Tata Punch comes with a single-pane sunroof starting from the lower-spec Pure+ S trim, which is available with the 88hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 73hp CNG option. If you want a sunroof with the more potent 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, you will have to opt for the fully loaded Accomplished+ S trim, which costs Rs 9.79 lakh with the turbocharged engine.

1. Hyundai Exter

Available from the S+ trim, priced at Rs 7.03 lakh

10 cheapest cars with a sunroof under Rs 10 lakh

The Exter is the smallest Hyundai SUV in India and can be had with a sunroof from the S Smart trim onwards. Like with the i20, the Exter features voice commands for the sunroof starting from the higher-spec SX(O) Connect trim, priced at Rs 8.98 lakh. The Exter shares its 83hp 1.2-litre petrol engine with the i20, but additionally offers CNG-powered variants, with the most affordable one to offer a sunroof priced at Rs 8.23 lakh in the S+ Executive trim.

Prices are ex-showroom, India.
