Toyota Glanza User Reviews

The big change on the new Toyota Glanza is under the bonnet. The old four-cylinder engine is gone, and a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine takes its place. When we drove this engine in the new Baleno, we found it smooth and quiet. You only really hear it when you rev it hard.

Key facts about the 2026 Glanza:

• The new-generation Z-series engine makes 83hp and 112Nm. That is 7hp and 1Nm less than before, but Toyota says it is more efficient, cleaner and smoother.
• Run it on CNG, and you get 70hp and 102Nm.
• With petrol, you can pick a manual or an AMT. The CNG is also offered with an AMT, for the first time.
• It is 3,990mm long, 1,745mm wide and 1,530mm tall, with a 2,520mm wheelbase and a 4.85m turning radius.
• The petrol versions weigh 950-990 kg, while the CNG versions weigh 1,045-1,060 kg.
• The G and higher trims get 195/55 R16 tyres. Meanwhile, the E and S trims get 185/65 R15s. Brakes are ventilated discs at the front and drums at the rear.
• The fuel tank holds 37 liters.
