Renault has announced the Bridger Concept, which will lead to a sub-4-metre SUV that is likely to rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon and Skoda Kylaq. While the French automaker is yet to confirm the powertrain specs of the Bridger Concept’s production version, it could use the Kiger’s 1 litre turbo petrol engine, and may offer a new naturally aspirated engine alongside hybrid and EV powertrains.

With the production model of the Bridger SUV still sometime away, the full reveal of this Renault concept will take place on March 10, 2026. Moreover, the production-spec version of the Renault Bridger will be designed and developed in India, and the SUV is likely to be based on the brand’s new modular R-GMP architecture. The design of this Renault compact SUV is expected to feature old-school boxy proportions mixed with modern styling elements such as LED lighting and alloy wheels.
