Tata Altroz variants
The Tata Altroz range covers 27 variants across seven trim levels, which is a wide spread for a car of this size. The fuel and the gearbox both narrow as you move through it, since the dual-clutch automatic is petrol only.
The base model Smart 1.2 Petrol MT is a Smart 1.2 petrol manual. Six airbags and the 5-star Bharat NCAP rating apply across the range, so the safety equipment is not something the higher variants unlock.
The top model Accomplished + S 1.2 Petrol DCT is an Accomplished+ S 1.2 petrol with the dual-clutch automatic.
Which variant gets which features:
The 10.25-inch touchscreen and the digital driver's display sit on the higher trims rather than across the range.
The sunroof is offered on selected variants only.
The 360-degree camera and the wireless charging pad are upper-variant items.
Rear air-conditioning vents and ambient lighting appear part way up the range.
The dual-clutch automatic is limited to the petrol, so diesel and CNG buyers choose between the manual and the automated manual.

Questions you may find useful
I am currently considering the Tata Altroz CNG. My monthly running is around 5,000 km, with about 70% of my driving on highways. I cannot consider an EV, so I am looking at CNG options. I need good boot space and comfortable interiors, with a budget of under Rs. 11 lakh. Is the Altroz CNG the best option for my requirements, or are there any better alternatives I should consider?
With 5,000 km a month and 70% highway, CNG is not the best choice. CNG is great for city running, but on highways it is not as efficient as diesel and you will be stopping frequently for refills. However, if a diesel is not in consideration, then the Altroz CNG is a well-rounded package.Other options include the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which is bigger and an SUV, but under Rs 11 lakh, you can only get the VXI trim that isn't as well equipped. The Altroz in its Accomplished S guise is closer to your budget and has a much richer cabin. It also has a comfy ride and is stable at highway speeds. If you don't have much use of a big boot the Tata Altroz CNG is a good option to consider.
I want to buy a car for my parents. criteria is automatic and fuel efficient. They both are teacher and travel 30km to a nearby village. My maximum budget is 9 lakh. My father have tummy so he generally prefer to sit in those cars in which he can easily get in and out without so much bending. I can opt BH number since I work in a central PSU. I selected 3 cars, 1 .Tiago amt cng pure plus 2. Altroz amt cng pure. 3 punch amt cng pure plus. Dealer is also giving discount on altroz amt cng that can bring this car under 9 lakh. Kindly suggest
Need help choosing my first automatic car (Budget 9 to 10 lakh on-road with BH registration) Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy my first car and would really appreciate some advice from experienced owners. I work in a bank, and this is a significant purchase for me, so I want to make the right decision. My budget is around 9 to 10 lakh on-road with BH registration (can stretch a little if it's genuinely worth it). My priorities are safety, reliability, a smooth automatic transmission, and low long-term ownership costs. I'll be using it mostly for city driving and intend to keep it for many years. The cars I'm considering are: Tata Punch AMT Tata Altroz (AMT) Maruti Baleno AMT If you were in my position, which one would you choose and why? I'd especially appreciate feedback from owners regarding: Reliability Service experience Real-world mileage Long-term ownership (5–10 years) Any regrets or things I should know before making the purchase Thanks in advance!
Hi, my wife is new driver, and she just got her driver license, I booked a 7x0 diesel manual, as u suggested in my earlier request, but we need a car for a First time driver, she is 29 years old, and the cars she liked the most are tata altroz diesel, nexon diesel amt, maruti swift zxi automatic amt, honda amaze cvt i-VTEC, her running is about 20kms per day, and she is aware about dpf risks in diesel vehicles, but she also goes on road trips once in 2 weeks on weekends, so she is also considering diesel, and she is fine with manual or automatic, she needs cruise control, android auto, and her desired fuel efficieny should be above 20km/l and she needs good amount of space and it should be easy to drive
