Driving the ZS EV has been a real delight. As my first electric car, I'm impressed with its range and how smooth and quiet it is. The cabin feels premium with leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof. While charging infrastructure can be tricky for long trips, it's unbeatable for city driving.

Worst roadside assistance service! I was stuck due to a system fault and requested help at 11:00 AM, but no one arrived until 09:00 PM. I spent the entire day waiting on the road.

The MG ZS EV is a fantastic addition to my garage. It strikes a great balance between performance, value, and range. The ride is smooth, quiet, and the instant torque makes driving enjoyable. I get over 350 km on a single charge, and the cabin is spacious with plenty of modern features.

The car is very poor. It doesn't even show the range accurately after a full charge, and servicing has been terrible. The warranty feels like a scam, as they just want customers to go through insurance claims instead of fixing the issues.

Just wow... What a beautiful car! I have had a great experience since buying it. The battery quality is awesome, and the ride comfort is top-notch. Mileage is also very good. I can confidently say this is one of the best EVs out there. Great experience with this car!

The MG ZS EV Excite is a fantastic car after driving over 1000 km. The highway range exceeds 350 km, while city driving yields between 260-320 km. The performance is stellar for a sub 25L car, and the service has been outstanding. However, the 360 cameras are of poor quality, and some features are missing in the base model.

Driving this car has been an awesome experience. It looks great and performs excellently. With a full charge, it can cover around 400 km. However, servicing and maintenance can be a bit pricey.

The MG ZS EV is a strong fit for your requirements if it is the discounted car under Rs 20 lakh on road. Since you dislike the Tata Curvv and MG Windsor designs, there's little reason to force yourself towards either.The current ZS EV has a 50.3kWh battery and a real world range of around 340km. Its comfortable ride and conventional SUV styling make it a sensible upgrade, while the main drawback is that it is an ageing model, with a replacement reportedly expected around 2027.That could affect resale value, but the discount can help offset the risk.

The MG ZS EV has been around since 2021, and it has barely been updated since. As of today, there are far more modern, better equipped, and more efficient electric cars available in the market. So even though the pricing is attractive, we'd advise you to consider a newer car instead. For Rs. 18.5 lakh on-road, you can consider the Kia Syros EV, Vinfast VF6, Tata Curvv EV, or even the MG Windsor.

Hi, I travel around 3,000 km a month, with 80% on highways at speeds of 100–120 km/h. I am looking to buy an EV and can set up a home charger. The options I have narrowed down to are: MG ZS EV top model – an older car, but is it still worth it? MG Windsor Pro EV top model Tata Nexon EV top model Which of these should I go for?

We’d rule out the MG Windsor Pro EV first. It’s more of a city-focused EV, and its highway manners aren’t ideal. The ride of the MG car is firm, and there is noticeable road noise, which can be tiring over long distances.The Tata Nexon EV is capable on highways, but its real-world range still falls short of the MG ZS EV’s. An important factor if you cover long distances and occasionally rely on public chargers.The MG ZS EV, though slightly older, remains the best option for your usage. It offers stronger performance, a more comfortable long-distance ride, better range, and a more spacious, premium cabin that feels a class above the others. Since it has been on sale for a while, you should also be able to negotiate a decent discount.

Hi, I am looking to change my 2020 Kia Sonet top-end diesel automatic. It has covered around 33,000km and has been a great car, but I want to change it now. I am considering an EV and have shortlisted the MG ZS EV Excite Pro. I am a senior citizen, with minimal usage of around three local errand trips a week and an annual running of around 4,000-5,000 km, including a couple of outstation trips. Please advise.

For your kind of usage, the low running costs and ease of driving in the city make a strong case for an electric car.The only thing to be mindful of is your outstation trips. The ZS EV has a real-world range of around 320-350 km, depending on driving style and conditions. If your outstation trips are within that range, the car will work very well. If they are longer, you will need to plan charging stops, which is manageable but relies heavily on the availability of chargers and the reliability of power supply in the region.The other thing to consider is home charging. If you have a dedicated parking space and can install a charger, only then does the ownership experience become seamless. Overall, given your usage and the fact that you are looking for a comfortable, hassle-free ownership experience, the MG ZS EV Excite Pro is a very good choice.
