Tata Nexon facelift price, variants explained

Nexon facelift gets major styling tweaks, along with BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines; available in a total of 16 versions.

Tata Motors has just announced pricing for the heavily updated Nexon SUV. The Nexon facelift gets a completely reworked front end that's more squared-out, with a new grille, headlights, bumper and fog lamps. Also new, are the blacked-out C-pillars, reprofiled tail-lamps and the restyled rear bumper.

On the inside, Tata has given the Nexon facelift lighter interior trim and upholstery shades, a digital instrument cluster, an improved infotainment system and a few cosmetic tweaks as well. Five trims are on offer, out of which three get the option of an AMT gearbox.

Here’s what you will get on each variant of the Tata Nexon facelift.

The Tata Nexon facelift is powered by BS6-spec versions of the pre-facelift Nexon’s engines. There is no change in the power and torque figures – the 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol produces 110hp at 5,000rpm and 170Nm of torque at 1,750-4,000rpm, while the 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo-diesel delivers 110hp at 3,750rpm and 260Nm of torque at 1,500-2,750rpm. And as before, both engine options are available with 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

These updates, have come at a cost though, with prices for the Nexon petrol facelift having gone up by about Rs 20,000, while prices for the diesel variants have increase up by around Rs 55,000.
