Tata Altroz CNG AMT: All you need to know

Gets a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine with petrol and CNG modes

The Altroz CNG is powered by the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine as the petrol variants, but with a factory-fitted twin-cylinder kit. In CNG mode, this engine produces 73.5hp and 103Nm, while the petrol mode increases that output to 88hp and 115Nm. The 5-speed AMT is also the same unit that's available with the petrol Altroz variants.

Tata launches Altroz CNG AMT at Rs 8.70 lakh

Compared to the 345-litre boot space of the Altroz's petrol and diesel variants, the CNG version has a lower 210-litre luggage capacity. Where rivals like the Toyota Glanza and Maruti Baleno relegate CNG to lower, less-equipped trim levels, Tata is notably offering the CNG AMT powertrain all the way up to the one-below-top Altroz Accomplished S trim, which packs goodies like LED headlights and tail-lamps, a sunroof, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch driver's display, a wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, 16-inch alloy wheels, and more.

All prices are ex-showroom, India.
