The Splendor Plus is an entry-level commuter motorcycle that is well known among India buyers for its unmatched reliability, strong mileage, and low maintenance costs. It was first launched in 1994 as the successor to the CD100, and since its launch, this Hero bike has evolved over the years with updates in design, efficiency, colours, and technology. The most notable update for Hero Splendor Plus came in 2020, when it was upgraded to meet BS6 norms and equipped with i3S (idle stop-start) technology.

Meanwhile, as reported by several owners, in real-world riding conditions, the fuel economy ranges between 65kpl and 72kpl depending on traffic, riding habits, and road conditions.
