The Hero Destini 125 is a family-oriented scooter with which the brand, Hero MotoCorp entered into the highly competitive 125cc family scooter category. It was first showcased as the Duet 125 at the Auto Expo before being launched as the Destini 125 in 2018. 

Over the years, the scooter received numerous updates, in terms of styling, performance, etc. The most significant changes came in 2020 and 2025, when the Destini 125 was updated to meet BS6 emission norms and underwent a comprehensive redesign. As part of the 2025 update, the Destini 125 got retro chrome styling, larger 12-inch wheels, and modern features, such as auto-cancel winkers, projector LED headlamp with DRL, and an illuminated start switch.

The Hero Destini 125 is built mainly for daily commuting and two-up riding. It is quite popular among Indian buyers because of its comfort-focused setup. This engine also features Hero’s i3S idle stop-start technology, which helps to improve fuel efficiency. As per the brand, the Hero Destini 125 mileage is 60kpl. But, during our test, in real-world conditions, we were able to extract an impressive 58kpl, which is close to the claimed figure.
