Bajaj Dominar 250

The Bajaj Dominar 250 is a sports-tourer motorcycle that perfectly balances long-distance touring and agile city commuting. It was launched in India on 11 March, 2020, and since then, it has positioned itself as the brand’s quarter-litre sports tourer.

Currently, the Dominar 250 is available in a single variant, the Standard and is 12kg lighter than its elder sibling - Dominar 400. The Dominar 250 weight is 180kg, whereas the Dominar 400 weighs 192kg (kerb).

The Dominar 250 price is ₹1.77 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Bajaj Dominar 250 on road price generally falls between ₹1.96 lakh and ₹2.14 lakh, depending on RTO, insurance, and various other charges. The Dominar 250 price in India places it in direct competition with bikes like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, RE Bullet 350, KTM 200 Duke, etc.

This Bajaj bike is powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27hp and 23.5Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with assist clutch and slip. Despite its engine capacity and output, the Dominar 250’s fuel efficiency is decent.

​As per ARAI, the Dominar 250 mileage is around 35.03 kpl. And with its 13-litre fuel tank, it offers a practical riding range of approximately 455km, depending on the riding habits and weather conditions. Plus, the 800mm of seat height makes the Dominar 250 quite accessible for most riders with an average height of 5.5 ft.
