The Bajaj Dominar 250 carries forward the same muscular power-cruiser styling as the Dominar 400, which remains one of the most distinctive designs in its segment. It gets the same LED headlamp, large fuel tank, rear cowl and overall proportions, giving it a premium and substantial road presence. The exclusive red paint scheme adds to its appeal, while the overall fit and finish are impressive, with consistent panel gaps and quality switchgear.

Comfort is one of the Dominar 250’s biggest strengths. The riding position is relaxed and well suited to long-distance touring, while the motorcycle’s large dimensions make it comfortable for spending extended hours in the saddle. This touring-friendly nature is further supported by the plush suspension setup, which absorbs rough roads with ease and keeps rider fatigue in check.

The 250cc engine delivers strong real-world performance, with brisk acceleration and excellent low-speed tractability. Out on the highway, it feels equally at home. The tall fifth and sixth gears allow the engine to cruise comfortably at higher speeds without feeling strained. While quick overtakes may require a downshift, the motor has enough performance to make long-distance touring enjoyable.

Sharing its perimeter frame with the Dominar 400 gives the 250 excellent stability and confidence. The chassis provides good feedback, while the suspension strikes an impressive balance between comfort and control. The bike remains composed over rough roads, absorbs bumps effortlessly and stays stable at high speeds.

The Dominar 250 gets full-LED lighting and a digital instrument console. However, compared to the larger Dominar 400, it misses several useful features that would have enhanced its touring credentials, particularly additional ride information on the display.

The Dominar 250 successfully delivers the core Dominar experience in a more approachable package. It combines strong performance, impressive comfort, stable handling and excellent touring ability without feeling significantly compromised.
