Bajaj Pulsar N125

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is built on an entirely new platform and introduces a fresh design. It comes with floating body panels, a distinctive headlamp design, and aero-inspired styling that help it stand out in the 125cc segment. Plus, familiar Pulsar touches remain, including the tank extensions and updated twin-slash tail-lamp design, creating a balance between new and recognisable styling.

The N125 offers a comfortable and practical riding position. The 795mm seat height is easy to manage for most riders, while the seat itself is spacious and comfortable. The footpegs are positioned slightly rearward to give the bike a sportier feel.

Power comes from a new 125cc engine producing 12hp, making it one of the most powerful motorcycles in the segment. Combined with the bike’s light 125kg kerb weight, performance feels lively and responsive. The engine is smooth, refined and highly tractable. It can comfortably pull from as low as 20kph in third gear, making it easy to ride in city traffic.

Its lightweight chassis gives it an agile and easy-going character that feels perfectly suited to city riding. The motorcycle changes direction quickly, leans confidently into corners, and remains stable without feeling nervous. The sporty footpeg placement allows generous cornering clearance, while the MRF tyres provide good grip. The only area that could be improved is the initial bite from the front brake.

The Pulsar N125 comes with a front disc brake and LED headlamp and tail lamp as standard. Higher variants add Bluetooth connectivity along with a silent start and start-stop system. However, it misses some features offered by rivals, including a rev counter, gear position indicator, and single-channel ABS.

The Pulsar N125 offers strong value. It undercuts similarly equipped rivals while delivering a fresh design, refined engine, light handling, and enjoyable riding experience. Although it misses a few desirable features and the quality could be better in some areas, the fundamentals are strong.
