Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Maruti Suzuki Brezza price in Ernakulam

₹8.55 - ₹16.13 Lakh
On road price in
EMI starting at ₹12,389 /month

On-road in Ernakulam, the base model LXi Turbo starts at 8.55 lakh and the top model ZXi Plus AT reaches 16.13 lakh. The VXi CNG sits between the two at 11.46 lakh.

If you are financing the car, a loan of 7,70,000 on the base model LXi Turbo means an EMI of 12,389 a month. Stepping up to the top model ZXi Plus AT raises that to 23,329 on a loan of 14,50,000.

Why prices change from the base model to the top model:

  • Three engines are offered here, so the engine you choose moves the price before any equipment is counted.

  • The base model LXi Turbo uses the 1.0-litre turbo, while the top model ZXi Plus AT pairs the 1.5-litre petrol with the automatic.

  • The automatic gearbox is offered only with the 1.5-litre petrol, so choosing it also decides your engine.

  • The 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats and the cooled wireless charger arrive higher up the range.

  • The 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert are reserved for the upper variants.

Registration, road tax and insurance are added to the ex-showroom figure, and how much they add depends on the state you buy in. That is why the same variant costs more in one city than another.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza FAQs

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is priced from ₹7.40 lakh to ₹13.55 lakh. Interestingly, Maruti has priced the turbo-petrol-powered Brezza lower than the naturally-aspirated versions. This, coupled with the fact that the Brezza offers a decent feature suite, makes it a value-for-money SUV.

The Brezza's 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, offered at a much lower price than the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated unit, offers the most value-for-money by offering more performance at a reasonable price.

I am looking to buy my first car and am confused between the Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX M and the new Brezza VXi Turbo. I am particularly confused about the actual operation and long-term maintenance costs of the TGDi and TCMPFi technologies. The Mahindra has a very nice interior but lacks Android Auto and a few other features. The Brezza also misses out on some interior features, but I am not too concerned about the maintenance of the TGDi engine. Considering long-term comfort, maintenance costs, and value for money, which car would be the better choice?

The difference between maintenance of modern turbo GDI and turbo MPFI engines can be minimised if you follow the company's recommended maintenance schedule. Still, there could be some difference in maintenance costs between the two when it comes to oils, replacement parts and other perishables. The key factor is not to miss a scheduled maintenance appointment, which could lead to more expensive problems with a T-GDI engine. With that in mind, since this is your first car and maintenance costs are your priority, go with the Maruti Brezza 1.0 Turbo. Its overall maintenance costs are lower, and Maruti Suzuki after-sales is more reliable and hassle-free overall. With the recent update, the Brezza is also pretty closely matched on features to the XUV 3XO. The Mahindra has advantages like a larger sunroof, dual-zone climate control, digital dials and radar-based Level 2 ADAS, but the Brezza has advantages like ventilated front seats and a PM2.5 filter. It also has sensor-based Level 1 ADAS, and crucially, both cars now have 5-star NCAP ratings. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is more powerful and more fun to drive, but on most other fronts, the Brezza is as good as, if not better, and thus should be your choice.

Hi, I want to buy an automatic car under a budget of Rs. 13.5 - 14.5 lakh. I want a low maintenance car that offers best mileage in this range and has hassle free service. My daily commute is around 30-40km. Sometimes, I also do highway driving. My options include Nexon Creative DCA petrol, Kia Sonet HTK Plus Diesel, Hyundai Venue HX 5 Turbo DCT and Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi AT?

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi AT as it best fits your priorities of low maintenance, good mileage and hassle-free service. The Brezza is the most reliable and stress-free option out of all the cars you've mentioned. Maruti's service network is unmatched, running costs are low and the naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with the 6-speed torque converter automatic is smooth, proven and well-suited to your running. It is not the most feature-rich car in this list, but it is the one you will own with the least headaches. The Brezza VXi AT is the sensible, low-stress choice that will keep you happy over the long term.

Hi, I am looking for a car under Rs 9 lakh. This will be my first car, and I am not very confident about driving yet. I currently use a bike for my daily commute, which is around 50% city and 50% highway driving. I have the Maruti Suzuki Brezza LXi and the Renault Triber RXL AMT in mind. Please suggest a good car based on my requirements. My main priorities are good mileage and a hassle-free ownership experience.

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta AMT. As a first-time car buyer who is not very confident behind the wheel, the Fronx AMT is the better choice because the automatic gearbox will make your daily commute far less stressful, especially in city traffic. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza LXi Turbo is a good car, but the manual gearbox will add unnecessary stress to your daily commute, and as a first-time buyer, you are better off prioritising ease of use over outright performance. If you are open to a manual, the Brezza is the better car overall, but given your priorities, the Fronx Delta AMT is the smarter choice.

I am planning to buy a sub-compact SUV. My budget is Rs. 13-14 lakh, and my priorities are a smooth automatic transmission and good mileage. I am considering the Brezza ZXi AT, Sonet HXT DCT, and Venue HX6 DCT. I am very confused because the Brezza’s torque-converter automatic offers good fuel efficiency but lacks some features, while the Sonet and Venue offer all the features I need. However, I am concerned that the DCT may be less fuel-efficient and could involve higher maintenance costs. My daily commute is around 30 km, mostly in heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic. Please suggest which one would be the best choice for my requirements.

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXI AT. Your priorities are a smooth automatic, good fuel efficiency and a daily 30km commute in heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic. The Brezza’s 6-speed torque converter automatic is the best fit for this usage. It is smooth, reliable and well suited to stop-start conditions, and the naturally aspirated petrol engine is efficient and easy to live with. Maruti’s service reach and low maintenance costs add to the ownership peace of mind. The Sonet and Venue DCTs are good cars, but the DCT gearbox is not ideal for heavy traffic. It can feel jerky at low speeds.Alternatively, if you can arrange for home charging, the Tata Punch EV is an excellent option.

I'm confused between the Brezza ZXi Turbo and the Fronx Delta Plus. My daily drive is 40 km.

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi Turbo. The Brezza is the more mature and well-rounded product here. It offers a more spacious cabin, better ride comfort and a more planted feel on the highway, as well as a larger boot. The Fronx Delta Plus is a good car and almost Rs. 1 lakh cheaper, but you will miss out on some features that the Brezza ZXi offers, like front parking sensors, TPMS and rear cross parking alert. The Brezza also has a more upright seating position and better visibility, which makes it easier to drive in traffic. Both cars use the same 1.0 turbo petrol engine - the Brezza has a bit more power, but also a bit more weight - so performance is similar, but the Brezza feels more planted and secure on the road. Overall, the Brezza ZXi Turbo is the better long-term ownership proposition for your usage.
