Volkswagen dealerships across India are offering significant benefits and discounts on the Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan this month. Naturally, all discounts and benefits are only available on MY2025 models. The total benefits this month comprise direct cash discounts, exchange and corporate/loyalty bonuses and a scrappage incentive of up to Rs 20,000.

Volkswagen Taigun discounts in January 2026
Entry-level Taigun Comfortline gets Rs 1.04 lakh off.
MY2025 Taigun variants with the highest discounts this month are the entry-level Comfortline MT (up to Rs 1.04 lakh) and the higher-spec Highline Plus AT (Rs 1 lakh) and GT Line AT (Rs 80,000); these are powered by the 115hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. Taigun 1.5-litre turbo-petrol variants – specifically the GT Plus Chrome DSG and GT Plus Sport DSG – are available with an exchange bonus of up to Rs 50,000. A rival to the Hyundai Creta and Tata Sierra, the Taigun is set to receive a facelift later this year; it is currently priced between Rs 11.42 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh.
Volkswagen Virtus discounts in January 2026
Entry-level Virtus Comfortline gets Rs 1.26 lakh off.
As with the Taigun, entry-level Virtus variants get the highest discounts in January, specifically the Comfortline MT (up to Rs 1.26 lakh), the Highline Plus AT (Rs 1 lakh) and the GT Line AT (Rs 80,000). Meanwhile, the Virtus GT Plus Chrome DSG and GT Plus Sport DSG variants, which are powered by the 150hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and come with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto as standard, are on offer with an exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000. While the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit is also available with a manual gearbox, there aren’t any offers or benefits on these variants. A rival to the Honda City and Hyundai Verna, the Virtus is also due for a facelift, which is likely to launch by the end of the year or early next year. Prices for the Virtus currently start at Rs 11.20 lakh and go up to Rs 18.78 lakh.
