The price point of the new Harrier Adventure X (Rs 18.99 lakh) and Adventure X + (Rs 19.34 lakh) cost Rs 55,000 less than the outgoing Adventure trims. Like the other higher-spec variants, the new Adventure X trims are available with both the 6-speed manual gearbox and the 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine remains unchanged across the Harrier’s line-up. The brand has also rejigged its variant line-up by consolidating a number of variants into new variants with an X suffix.

Tata Harrier Adventure X features

Dual-tone black and tan interior exclusive to Adventure X trim.

To differentiate the Adventure X trims from lower Harrier variants, they get a Seaweed Green exterior colour (also available on the top-spec variants), along with an exclusive dual-tone black and tan interior theme. In terms of features and safety kit over the outgoing Adventure variant, the new Adventure X adds auto wipers. The rest of the kit – 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster and 6 airbags – remain the same.

The new Harrier Adventure X + variant adds rear disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a Level 2 ADAS suite to the Adventure X’s features list. However, the new variant misses out on the 18-inch alloys and front parking sensors seen on the outgoing Adventure + and Adventure + A variants.
