Skoda has launched the Slavia Anniversary Edition and Kushaq Lava Blue Edition. Both limited-run editions get minor cosmetic enhancements, but the Slavia also gets the 10-inch touchscreen that was discontinued in June 2022.

The Slavia Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 17.28 lakh for the manual gearbox version, while the automatic gearbox version is priced at Rs 18.68 lakh. The Kushaq Lava Blue Edition is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh for the manual and automatic gearbox-equipped variants, respectively.

While the Slavia Anniversary Edition is the flagship trim of the midsize sedan, the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition sits between the Style and Monte Carlo trims of the midsize SUV.

Slavia Anniversary Edition, Kushaq Lava Blue Edition: what’s new?

The main addition to the Slavia Anniversary Editon is the return of the 10-inch touchscreen paired with a 380W speaker system. This infotainment system was discontinued last year in the Kushaq and Slavia due to the global semiconductor shortage. Though Skoda reintroduced it in the Kushaq last year with the Anniversary Edition and Kushaq Monte Carlo, the Slavia only gets it now with its Anniversary Edition.

Meanwhile, the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition gets puddle lamps that also project the Skoda logo. Both cars get front and rear mudflaps, chrome finish on the grille and chrome garnish on the doors and trunk. While the Slavia gets 'Anniversary Edition' badging on the C-pillar, the Kushaq gets Edition badges on the B-pillar. Furthermore, both also get the Lava Blue colour that is available on the KodaiqOctavia and Superb. This is the first time this colour is available on Skoda’s India 2.0 models.

On the inside, the Slavia gets Anniversary Edition inscribed on the scuff plate, steering wheel and pillows. The Kushaq gets the same but has Edition inscribed on the scuff plate and pillows.

Under the hood, both models get the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine churning out 150hp and 250Nm of torque. Both get a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Skoda says this engine is now E20 (20 percent petrol-ethanol blend) compliant. It also complies with RDE norms and is up to 5 percent and 7 percent more fuel efficient than before in the Slavia and Kushaq, respectively.
