The MG Astor sits in the hotly contested midsize SUV segment where it rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Skoda Kushaq and the Volkswagen Taigun. Compared to its rivals, the Astor has one of the lowest starting prices in the segment, only more expensive than the Nissan Kicks. Even the CVT automatic variants of the Astor are on the more affordable side as compared to its rivals.
At the top-end of the spectrum, the Astor is again more affordable than its rivals, even with its optional ADAS package. In fact, it is only more expensive than the Nissan Kicks and Renault Duster at the top-end. It is thus fair to say that MG has pretty much nailed the pricing of the Astor.
