Hyundai has released the claimed ARAI fuel efficiency numbers for the second-generation Venue, launched today at starting price of Rs 7.90 lakh (introductory). The compact SUV continues to offer petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel engine options. The NA petrol engine comes only with a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas the turbo-petrol motor is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A new diesel-AT option has also been added to the line-up.

  2. Diesel-MT most fuel efficient Venue variant with a 20.99kpl figure

18.05kpl to 20kpl

The Venue’s 1.2-litre petrol engine with 5-speed manual gearbox returns a claimed 18.05kpl. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is more efficient, delivering 18.74kpl with the manual gearbox. The DCT version posts the highest figure among the petrol line-up at 20kpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient turbo-petrol automatic options in its class.
