In the run up to the launch of the Creta facelift, Hyundai has released more information about the upcoming midsize SUV. The refreshed Creta will get a number of feature additions that will help it stay on top of the sales charts when it goes on sale in the coming days. Here’s what you get.

  1. Top-spec Creta facelift trims get Level 2 ADAS suite
  2. New 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone AC among new kit
  3. 19 variants and five powertrain options on offer

UPDATE: Hyundai Creta facelift design sketches revealed ahead of January 16 launch

Hyundai Creta facelift safety kit

The images released by Hyundai show that the Creta facelift will get six airbags. Range-topping variants – likely the SX Tech and SX(O) – will be equipped with Hyundai’s SmartSense Level 2 ADAS suite that is said to have 19 functions, 360-degree cameras, a blind spot monitoring system, a tyre pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control (ESC). Hyundai claims that the Creta’s body structure has been reinforced and other changes have been made to ensure a “high level of crashworthiness”. This is of, course, to have one eye on the recently launched Bharat NCAP safety tests.
