Citroen Aircross Xplorer launched, priced from Rs 10.23 lakh

    Citroen India has launched a special edition for the Aircross, which gets the Xplorer suffix. This limited-run model adds various exterior and interior accessories to the mid-spec Plus and top-spec Max trims. The French company offers two accessories packages with the Aircross Xplorer. The Standard Pack is priced at Rs 24,000 more than the variant it is based on, while the Optional Pack costs an additional Rs 51,700.

    Buyers opting for the Standard Pack will get faux air vents on the bonnet, khaki-coloured inserts and decals on the rear doors. In addition, the interior of the Aircross Xplorer with the Standard Pack sports a dashcam, ambient lighting for the footwells and illuminated door sills. All these changes will cost Rs 24,000 more than the variant it is based on, so the prices for the Aircross Xplorer with the Standard Pack range between Rs 10.23 lakh and Rs 14.79 lakh.

    The Optional Pack adds a rear entertainment screen for the left-side passenger, along with a dual-port adapter to the Standard Pack. As the Aircross Xplorer with the Optional Pack costs Rs 51,700 more, it is priced between Rs 10.51 lakh and Rs 15.06 lakh.

    The Aircross continues to be available in 5-seat and 5+2 seat forms, along with the same 82hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine options. The latter comes with the choice of a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
