New Citroen C3 X Shine trim launched at 7.91 lakh

After a few teasers, Citroen India has launched the new range-topping C3 X trim and has slashed prices for the rest of the range. 2025 Citroen C3 bookings have begun today, with deliveries expected in the first week of September.

New top-spec C3 X trim priced between Rs 7.91 lakh and Rs 10.15 lakh

The new C3 X trim effectively replaces the previous top-spec Shine variant and is priced between Rs 7.91 lakh and Rs 10.15 lakh. The C3 X variant is available with the 82hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol option. While dual-tone colours are standard on the C3 X Shine Turbo variant, it is an extra Rs 15,000 on the NA engine Shine variant. Further, the 360-degree camera is a Rs 25,000 optional extra, which means the top-spec C3 X Shine Turbo-AT’s price would go up to Rs 10.15 lakh with this feature.

2025 Citroen C3 X exterior

No exterior changes other than the C3 X badge

The C3 X variant does not get any exterior changes compared to the other variants, besides the C3 X badge on the tailgate. The brand has introduced a new Garnet Red colour to the range, which is available in monotone and dual-tone forms, with a black roof.  The previously offered Platinum Grey finish has been replaced by a Steel Grey one, but the other colour options – Polar White, Cosmo Blue and Perla Nera Black – remain unchanged, as does the Cosmo Blue with a Polar White roof dual-tone option.

Cruise control only offered on the C3 X Shine Turbo-AT

The new features seen on the top-spec C3 X Shine variant include an auto-dimming inside rear view mirror, keyless entry and push-button start. These variants also get a leatherette dashboard finish, while the Live and Feel variants get ‘Injected Grey’ and ‘Anodised Grey’ plastic finishes. It should be noted that the 360-degree camera is an optional extra, priced at Rs 25,000, exclusively for the C3 X Shine variant. Further, cruise control is only offered on the C3 X Shine Turbo-AT variant.
