Variants and features of Maruti Suzuki e Vitara explained

After unveiling the e Vitara in India in January 2025, Maruti Suzuki has finally revealed prices of all the variants of the e Vitara. Like MG’s approach with its mass-market EVs, Maruti has also adopted a battery as a service (BaaS) scheme for its sole electric offering. This lowers the initial cost of ownership as the battery pack is offered with a subscription fee. The e Vitara is decently loaded with features and is available in three variants: Delta, Zeta and Alpha.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Which variant should you buy?

The top-spec Alpha trim offers the most value.

At Rs 19.79 lakh, the e Vitara’s Alpha trim is one of the most affordable top-spec EVs in its class, which is loaded with modern-day amenities including seat ventilation, a branded sound system, a 360-degree camera, ADAS and dual digital screens. The 61kWh battery pack, with a claimed range of 543km is likely to offer enough real-world range of over 400km. However, if you are on a strict budget, the entry-spec Alpha trim offers a lot of value with a well loaded features suite. Actually, the Alpha trim is a sensible choice if you plan to use the e Vitara in the city.
