As for gearboxes, there’s a 5-speed manual for the CNG, an e-CVT for the strong hybrid and a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic for the mild hybrid. Victoris' strong hybrid powertrain is the most fuel-efficient, returning an ARAI-rated 28.56kpl. It's followed by 27.02km/kg returned by the Victoris CNG. The mild hybrid versions deliver relatively lower 21.18kpl (MT), 21.06kpl (AT) and 19.07kpl (AT, AWD).

3. What extra features does the Maruti Victoris get over the Grand Vitara?

Notably, both SUVs offer the strong hybrid powertrain in their respective top trims, but the Victoris also has the mild hybrid powertrain option on offer. Compared to the Grand Vitara's top trims, the range-topping Victoris trims are cheaper by up to a whopping Rs 4.86 lakh.

4. Is the Maruti Victoris a 7 seater SUV?

Seats up to 5 people

Like the Grand Vitara, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is strictly a 5-seater SUV. As per our Victoris review, its seats are comfortable, but the rear-seat space, headroom and kneeroom for tall passengers are a bit tight. Space for three adults at the back is a bit tight, too.
