Which Maruti Victoris variant you can consider?
We are yet to review the Victoris, but the strong-hybrid powertrain that the new SUV shares with the Grand Vitara is worth considering, especially for its superior ARAI mileage and aggressive Rs 17.8 lakh (introductory ex-showroom) price. As for the trim, even the base LXi covers the basics well, but we'd recommend the Victoris ZXi, which comes pretty well equipped with features like LED fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, powered tailgate with gesture control, leatherette seats, auto IRVM and a 10.25-inch driver's display.
It should be noted that the Victoris boasts a full 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash tests. And while safety equipment like 6 airbags is standard on the Victoris, you may consider the slightly higher priced ZXI+ trim (Rs 19.47 lakh), which adds Level 2 ADAS suite for more protection on the roads. It also offers niceties like ventilated front seats and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen.
