Skoda Kylaq price in Pudukkottai

₹8.92 - ₹16.24 Lakh
On road price in
EMI starting at ₹12,871 /month

The Kylaq price in Pudukkottai starts at Rs 7.59 lakh for the base model, the Classic MT, and goes up to Rs 13.09 lakh for the top model, the Prestige+ AT (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Kylaq on-road price in Pudukkottai starts at Rs 8.92 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.24 lakh.

For buyers considering finance, a loan of Rs 8,00,000 for the Classic MT works out to an EMI of Rs 12,871 per month. The Prestige+ AT requires a larger loan of Rs 14,60,000, taking the monthly EMI to Rs 23,490.

Why Prices Change From The Base Model To The Top Model?

The Skoda Kylaq is offered in seven trims: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Sportline, Prestige and Prestige+. All variants use the same 115hp, 178Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque-converter automatic. The price difference comes down to the equipment on offer, with the automatic gearbox available from the Classic+ trim onwards.

  • Classic: The entry-level variant gets six airbags, electronic stability control, LED headlamps, automatic climate control and rear parking sensors. However, it misses out on an infotainment system.
  • Classic+: Adds a single-pane sunroof, cruise control, an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror and additional audio speakers. It is also the most affordable way to get the automatic gearbox.
  • Signature: Adds a 7-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear AC vents, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a rear wiper and washer.
  • Signature+: Gets a larger 10-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear parking camera, keyless entry and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat. It is the variant Autocar India recommends for its balance of features and price.
  • Sportline: Adds a sportier appearance with black 17-inch alloy wheels, black exterior detailing, aluminium pedals, Sportline seat upholstery, LED projector headlamps and a wireless phone charger.
  • Prestige: Adds ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps and a wireless phone charger.
  • Prestige+: Tops the range with six-way electrically adjustable front seats, adding convenience over the Prestige.

For most buyers, the Signature+ is the variant to consider, as it brings the larger touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and wireless smartphone connectivity without requiring the additional outlay for the top trims. Buyers on a tighter budget can consider the Signature, while those who want ventilated front seats should look at the Prestige.

Skoda Kylaq FAQs

The Kylaq’s starting price is similar to the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO, which are also offered with a similarly powered turbo-petrol engine. Turbo-petrol engines offered with other rivals like Venue, Sonet, Magnite and Fronx have a higher starting price. The Kylaq also has one of the most affordable top-spec trims with a turbo-petrol engine in the segment at ₹13.09 lakh.

In terms of real-world performance, as well as the overall drive experience, the Kylaq is one of the best compact SUVs currently. However, it falls short in terms of equipment like a 360-degree camera and ADAS, which rivals offer. It is value-for-money if for you the driving experience precedes the requirement of premium features.

Hi Autocar, I have already booked Škoda Kylaq Classic+ Automatic with its delivery during the next 1 week but the government's move towards E100 fuel has raised concerns about whether higher ethanol blends, such as E20 or above, could cause EPC or maintenance issues with the Kylaq. Should I be worried about long-term reliability and maintenance costs?

Verified
•13h

There is no need to panic or cancel your Škoda Kylaq Classic+ automatic booking purely because of concerns around E100 or higher ethanol blends. The key distinction is between a government policy allowing higher ethanol blends and a mandate requiring every petrol car to run on them. Your concern about EPC warnings and maintenance is understandable, but it is important to establish what fuel the Kylaq's manufacturer officially approves before assuming you will face problems. Skoda confirms that all its BS VI petrol cars sold in India after 1 April 2020 are compatible with E20 fuel, and using E20 will not void the warranty on these cars under its standard warranty terms. The government has also clarified that the recent E100 regulation is for specially designed and certified flex fuel vehicles. It does not require existing cars to switch to E100, and the government said in July 2026 that no decision had been taken to increase the nationwide blend beyond E20.

Hi Team, I need your help in making a head vs. heart decision. I am a new driver and this would be my first car. My budget is around Rs. 15-16 lakh and I want a car with automatic transmission and should have BH number. I work in Delhi but my hometown is in Uttarakhand. My usage will be around 60% in the city and 40% on highway/hill runs. My overall running will be around 1,000 km per month. Since I am a bachelor, I will be mostly travelling alone and only sometimes with passengers. Jimny and Kylaq are front runners but I have a soft spot for the Gypsy, which used to be my dad's government car. Which car should I choose? I like Jimny Alpha AT but logically Skoda Kylaq Prestige+ makes more sense. I am open to other options as well.

Verified
•1d

The Skoda Kylaq Prestige+ automatic is the better choice for your usage, even though the Jimny has the stronger emotional appeal. The Jimny’s biggest strength is its off-road ability, which you’re unlikely to use often. In the city, its heavy steering and large number of turns lock to lock can make manoeuvring tiring, while the ride, though impressive for a ladder-frame SUV, still feels lumpier than the Kylaq’s. Its engine is also less suited to relaxed, quick highway overtakes. The Kylaq, on the other hand, fits your Delhi commute and Uttarakhand trips better. Its 1.0-litre turbo-petrol has enough punch for highway driving, the six-speed torque converter automatic is smooth in traffic, and its comfortable ride and agile handling make it enjoyable without being demanding for a new driver. It should also feel more settled on long highway runs. The Jimny will always have that Gypsy connection, and that’s a perfectly valid reason to want one. But buy the Kylaq with your head and heart: it is the more capable everyday companion for the driving you’ll actually do.

I am planning to buy a petrol automatic subcompact SUV primarily for city driving, with a monthly running of hardly 300km. My main priorities are reliability and rear seat comfort. Which would be a better choice between the Skoda Kylaq and Kia Sonet, considering my requirements?

Verified
•4d

With just 300 km a month and city use, reliability and rear seat comfort should be your main priorities. The Skoda Kylaq is the better choice here. It uses a proven 1.0 TSI engine paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic, which is a reliable and smooth combination for city driving. The Kylaq also offers a more comfortable rear seat experience, with better legroom and a more supportive bench, making it a better family car for daily use. The Kia Sonet is a good car, but the Kylaq edges it out on rear seat comfort and overall driving experience. At your running petrol is the right choice and another good option could be the Maruti Suzuki Brezza 1.5 L automatic, which has a comfier rear seat, a smoother drive experience and a better low speed ride.

I am planning to buy a subcompact SUV with an on-road budget of up to Rs. 15 lakh in the NCR. The options I am considering are the Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. An automatic transmission is a necessity. I prefer a reliable car with good after-sales service, as I want to avoid frequent visits to service centres. Mileage is not a major concern, as my annual running will be less than 5,000 km. I am evaluating these options against the Skoda Kylaq Sportline, as I am concerned about the E20 fuel-related issues reported by other owners. Which car would you recommend for reliable and hassle-free ownership?

Verified
•1w

Go for the Skoda Kylaq Sportline automatic. Your priorities are clear: reliability, low running costs, an automatic, and minimal service headaches. The Kylaq is a genuinely good driver's car with a proven 1.0 TSI engine and a 6-speed torque converter automatic that is smooth and well suited to city driving. Skoda has improved its service network in NCR, and the Kylaq is a solid product with a good ownership track record. On the E20 concern, do not overthink it. The Kylaq is E20 compliant, and modern engines are engineered with sufficient tolerance for E20. There is no official roadmap beyond E20, and the impact is largely limited to a slight drop in fuel economy. The XUV 3XO is a strong value proposition with more features and a wider cabin, but the Kylaq feels more premium and is the better driver's car. The Brezza and Urban Cruiser Taisor are the safe, reliable choices with excellent service reach, but they are not as engaging to drive and feel less premium inside. The Venue is a good all-rounder, but the Kylaq offers a better driving experience. With your low running costs and focus on reliability, the Kylaq Sportline automatic is the right balance of driving enjoyment, premium feel and long-term ownership confidence.

I’ve almost finalised the Skoda Kylaq Signature Automatic, and I really like the car. However, I’m a little worried about Skoda’s long-term service and maintenance costs, especially after the warranty period. I’m planning to keep the car for around 7–8 years. Would you recommend taking the Service Maintenance Package (SMP) along with the car? Is it worth the additional cost considering regular servicing and potential maintenance expenses? Also, compared with the Brezza and Nexon, how is the Kylaq Signature Automatic in terms of long-term reliability, service costs and parts replacement? Would really appreciate your advice before I make the final purchase decision.

Verified
•2w

If you like the Skoda Kylaq Signature Automatic, go ahead and buy it. It is a genuinely good car and one of the best driver’s cars in the segment. The 1.0 TSI engine paired with the 6-speed torque converter automatic is a proven combination, and Skoda’s reliability has improved significantly in recent years. The bigger concern is not reliability but long-term maintenance costs, which can be higher than Maruti or Tata once the car is out of warranty. This is where the Service Maintenance Package (SMP) makes sense. It locks in your service costs for the first 4-5 years, covers all scheduled maintenance and gives you peace of mind during the most expensive ownership period. If you are planning to keep the car for 7-8 years, it is worth the additional cost because it protects you from unexpected bills and helps you budget ownership costs more accurately.Compared to the Brezza and Nexon, the Kylaq is the better driver’s car with a more engaging driving experience and a stronger engine. The Brezza is the benchmark for long-term reliability and low maintenance costs, while the Nexon sits somewhere in between. The Kylaq is not unreliable, but parts and service can be more expensive once you are out of warranty. If you are buying the Kylaq, take the SMP and enjoy the car. If long-term ownership costs are your absolute priority, the Brezza is the safer financial choice.
