The upcoming MG Air EV two-door compact electric car is based on the Wuling Air EV sold in markets like Indonesia, but will be adapted considerably for India and will also use a new name. Measuring just 2.9 metres in length with a wheelbase of 2010mm, the MG Air EV will be positioned as an urban runabout. However, it will be well-equipped on the inside with dual screen infotainment layout and soft touch materials. MG’s compact EV will have a battery pack of 20kWh to 25kWh for a real world driving range of about 150km. Power output will be around the 40hp mark.
