Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: will be feature-laden
Ahead of its global debut, details of the new midsize SUV from Toyota have begun to trickle in. Sources tell us that Toyota will expand theUrban Cruiser SUVline-up in India with a second model, which will have the Hyryder suffix. This new SUV, not to be mistaken with theVitara Brezza-based Urban Cruiser, will be a completely different and bigger vehicle. The SUV will be over four metres long and sit above the current Urban Cruiser, which could a full model change in the near future.
However, it remains to be seen to what extent Toyota's highly fuel efficient full-hybrid compensates for the lack of a diesel engine in its midsize SUV line-up, which is something the segment leaders have.
