With the new GST rates coming into effect from today, Tata Motors has announced a reduction in ex-showroom prices by up to Rs 1.55 lakh on all its ICE-powered vehicles. The carmaker is also offering festive season discounts, taking total benefits to up to Rs 2 lakh on models like the Nexon. The festive discounts, however, are only applicable till September 30. Let’s take a closer look at all the benefits available with each model.
Tata Tiago
Benefits of up to Rs 1.20 lakh
The Tata Tiago’s ex-showroom price sees a reduction of up to Rs 75,000. Tata’s entry-level hatchback is now priced between Rs 4.57 lakh and Rs 8.10 lakh, including CNG variants. There are additional discounts worth up to Rs 45,000, so the total benefits are up to Rs 1.20 lakh. The Tiago continues to be the most affordable Tata car in India.
Tata Tigor
Benefits of up to Rs 1.11 lakh
Tata has dropped ex-showroom prices of the Tigor by up to Rs 81,000, and now the subcompact sedan is priced between Rs 5.48 lakh and Rs 8.74 lakh. Additionally, with the festive season discounts of up to Rs 30,000, the total benefits are as high as Rs 1.11 lakh.
Tata Punch
Benefits of up to Rs 1.58 lakh
Tata’s smallest SUV, the Punch, sees a drop of up to Rs 1.08 lakh in ex-showroom prices, which now range between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 9.24 lakh. Customers can also enjoy additional benefits worth Rs 50,000, taking the total savings on the Punch up to Rs 1.58 lakh.
Tata Altroz
Benefits of up to Rs 1.76 lakh
The ex-showroom prices of the Tata Altroz have dropped by up to Rs 1.11 lakh, and the premium hatchback is now priced between Rs 6.30 lakh and Rs 10.51 lakh. There’s an additional Rs 65,000 off (the highest festive season discount of all models), so the total savings go up to Rs 1.76 lakh.
Tata Nexon
Benefits of up to Rs 2 lakh
Tata’s most popular SUV, the Nexon, is available with the highest overall benefits – up to Rs 2 lakh, thanks to up to Rs 1.55 lakh drop in the ex-showroom prices (the highest of any model) and additional festive season benefits of up to Rs 45,000. The Nexon is now priced from Rs 7.31 lakh.
Tata Curvv
Benefits of up to 1.07 lakh
The Tata Curvv’s ex-showroom prices have reduced by up to Rs 67,000 and now range between Rs 9.65 lakh and Rs 18.80 lakh. As the coupe-SUV is also available with festive season benefits of up to Rs 40,000, the total benefits are as high as Rs 1.07 lakh.
Tata Harrier
Benefits of up to Rs 1.94 lakh
Price reductions on Tata’s larger SUVs are even greater, with the Harrier seeing up to Rs 1.44 lakh reduction in its ex-showroom price. Additionally, there are festive season benefits of up to Rs 50,000. The Tata Harrier is now priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 25.25 lakh.
Tata Safari
Benefits of up to Rs 1.98 lakh
Finally, Tata’s flagship ICE-powered SUV, the Safari, sees up to Rs 1.48 lakh reduction in its ex-showroom prices, but the festive season offer of up to Rs 50,000 is the same as the Harrier. The Tata Safari range is now priced between Rs 14.66 lakh and Rs 25.96 lakh.
